A few weeks passed. Weeks then turned into one month. Tony spend his time at home, catching up with his family, throwing a belated birthday party for Morgan as she turned 5 and wanted another party with Tony. Tony chilled at home mostly due to the press going crazy about his sudden resurrection from the dead. He couldn't even look out the window without a mob of people staring back at him. He wanted to let the whole thing blow over but he didn't think it ever would.

Not only that, but he could tell Pepper and Morgan weren't comfortable with him leaving. Morgan was, obviously, a lot more open about it though.

"Don't leave Daddy... how do I know you won't come back..." Morgan had said to him brokenly, looking down, her eyes tearing.

Tony hated seeing his lively daughter down. So he stayed home mostly. Sometimes he would go out briefly for some groceries, but he tried to avoid the outside anyway. Pepper normally went out and did everything, to help with Morgan's separation anxiety to Tony.

As for Pepper? Tony knew she was still a little overwhelmed of everything and he could tell the whole press/media thing was only making it worse. She tried to play it off, but Tony knew that her strong exterior was just a facade.

She would sometimes wake up with a start of nightmares. She denied them to Tony, but Tony knew better. And would comfort her until she went to sleep.

He hated what he brought on his family. Pepper never got nightmares, and Morgan was scared of her father leaving again.

So,

He stayed home for both of them.

To help rebuild his family, slowly.

Some of the remaining Avengers did want to throw a party, to at least do something for Tony, but many of them were AWOL.

Thor was with the guardians and probably didn't know he was alive.

Bruce had taken off after Natasha's death, trying to find a way to bring her back allegedly, but Tony knew it was impossible. Tony had a feeling that after Bruce saw that Tony lived, that there was a chance for Natasha. And Tony didn't have the heart to discourage him. After all, Tony didn't know what the hell happened to him. And if there was anyone who could figure it out, it was Bruce. He did shoot him a text after the media exploded with Tony's whole, resurrecting from the dead news, confirming their beliefs. Bruce gave him a warm welcome back and obviously was relieved to see him, but said he was busy with experiments at the moment. And Tony let him be.

Steve was doing okay. Tony thought he was dead, so he was pretty relieved to see he wasn't. After all, he couldn't lie. What Wanda put in his head during Ultron haunted him sometimes. And he was relieved, despite half hating him sometimes, that he was alive and well. Steve was the same old. He shared an apartment with Bucky. The two rekindling their friendship. After all, they were all each other had. 'Till the end of the line,' as their catchphrase said. Tony didn't know if anything was going on with the two, but figured they just moved in together because again, they were all each other had, really. Steve was beyond shocked when he found out the news. The second he was released, Steve practically tore down their door knocking. Tony had opened the door and Steve practically gave him a bonecrushing hug.

"Careful Steve... I'm no super human like you..." Tony had joked as he patted Steve's back, relieved to see him as well. Glad he didn't do anything reckless.

Steve has given him a small, emotional smile. His crystal blue eyes sparkling with relief and all kinds of emotions. Steve took Tony's death hard. Mainly because the two were never close and butted heads often. He hated how they left things. He wanted their relationship to be more friendly.
