Much to Aaron's surprise, the wolves and vampires were getting along. Just enough to protect the Swan family. They took turns switching off night and day to stand out in front of the house as the girls went about their normal lives.

Bella was currently with Angela while Aaron was standing in front of her corkboard trying to figure out a way to kill Victora once more. It was the only thing consuming her mind - aside from finals.

This red-headed bitch wasn't going to stop her from graduating high school.

Her phone buzzed cutting through her thoughts. They weren't going anywhere anyway. Paul told her to get ready for tonight as apparently, they were throwing a bonfire. Sam thought it would be important for her to hear.

Until then, she had time to kill and knew exactly how she wanted to do it.

Throwing on her boots on, she ran down the stairs and right out into the forest. As dedicated as she is, Aaron felt like she knew where Victoria has been hiding. It was a well-kept secret from everyone else, one she was reluctant to share. They'd just make her sit back as they did everything. Which was what she was trying to avoid.

Her trek took her towards Seattle. A longer distance than she originally thought. But the last few times she and the wolves chased her, it was always in this direction. Victoria may be trying to lead them off her trail but was doing a terrible job at it.

Then again so was the pack and the Cullens because they couldn't find her until she was on their land.

Aaron found herself slowing into a jog before walking as she hit the streets of Seattle. If anything, they'd be in the slums. The girl thought to herself before taking a turn down a desolate alleyway.

The city was in fear as attacks have skyrocketed, making the streets empty.

It was a bit unnerving as she shoved her hands into her pockets, trying to calm herself. The determination she had to get to this point had faded after arriving. Now, it took everything to continue walking.

A clang rang out in the alleyway right before her, making the girl stop. Anger flared up at herself before stomping forward and peaking around the corner. There was a hoard of them. It scared her.

Aaron knew how strong the pack and the Cullens were, but was it enough to stop all of this. And just as she suspected, a blur of red hair was seen in the crowd. Only one person in this world had hair that vibrant, and it was Victoria.

She needed to tell everyone.

It pained her to detach herself from that wall. She wanted to be the one to take them all down, but there was just too many.

Bright red eyes and a wicked smile waited for her after turning around. Before being able to kick, punch, or hell even run, their cold hand gripped her throat. Aaron struggled to breathe as the man dragged her down the alleyway.

"Oh, Victoria," he sung. "Look who I found."

He threw Aaron to the ground, who quickly scrambled to her feet. There was no way she was going to lay there and take what was going to come to her.

The redhead smile at her before stalking slowly up to her. "Aaron, darling. I was beginning to think you weren't ever going to find me. Nice work. You're ten times smarter than those wolves you hang with. Not to mention the Cullens. They have someone seeing the future and still can't put two and two together. But you're exceptional. I want you on my team, but first, I need you to do something for me."

"I'll never do anything for you," Aaron spat earning a chilling laughter.

"Like you'll have a choice."

"Aaron, Edward is here. You ready to go?" Bella begrudgingly asked not wanting to spend time with her sister. She just wanted to go and hang with the wolves without her being there for once.

The girl in question furrowed her eyebrows as she looked around her room. For the life of her, she couldn't remember how she got home. Or what she was doing for the past few hours. It was blank.

"What was I doing?" She asked instead of answering. Bella just shrugged. Aaron tried shaking off the feeling.

Maybe I just took a nap? She thought to herself while following Bella out the door. The only problem with that is it doesn't make sense. It was as if she was in the middle of doing something and woke up aware of her surroundings.

She couldn't shake the feeling the whole drive. Not even making a snarky comment when they were dropped off in the middle. Like two children who's parents just got divorced.

"Are you okay?" Trent questioned as they walked to the bonfire where everyone else was already gathered. She slapped on a fake smile, said yes, and began having a hot dog competition with him and Paul.

Everyone fell silent as Billy looked into the fire. Aaron could tell this was not going to be taken lightly and put down her drink as he began.

"The Quileutes have been a small tribe from the beginning. But we've always had magic in our blood. We were great spirit warriors. Shape shifters, that transform into the powerful wolf. This enabled us to scare off our enemies and protect our tribe. One day our warriors came across a creature. It looked like a man, but it was hard like stone and cold as ice. Our warriors' sharp teeth, finally tore it apart... But only, fire would completely destroy it."

Billy paused, allowing everyone to take in the information before starting once more. The two of them locked eyes, sending a shiver through Aaron's body.

"They lived in fear, the Cold Man was not alone. And they were right. She took her vengeance out on the village. Alongside her was a Védő, or as we know them, protector. The Cold Woman alone was enough brute force to kill the villagers, but it seemed as though Védő was there to make sure nothing happened to the Cold One. Our elder chief, Taha Aki, was the only spirit warrior left to save the tribe after his son was killed. Taha Aki's Third Wife could see that he would lose. The Third Wife was no magical being, no special powers, but one... Courage. The Third Wife's sacrifice distracted the Cold Woman, long enough for Taha Aki to destroy her. Védő exploded into flames, dying the moment she did. She saved the tribe. Over time, our enemies have disappeared. But one remains... The Cold Ones. Our magic awakens when they near. And we sense it now, we feel the threat in our blood. Something terrible is coming. And we must all be ready. All of us."

No one wanted to move.

Aaron was petrified. Her worst fear was confirmed. If Bella died, so did she. And with the rate they were going one of two things were going to happen. Neither of which was well for Aaron.

Edward was going to turn her or Victoria was going to kill her.
