How Aaron got roped into helping Alice set up for the graduation party was beyond her. She didn't even want to be apart of it, but now was forced too to ensure no one died.

Or at least got bitten.

And the whole shebang wasn't even for another two weeks. This was just Alice being prepared and wasting their money by trying to figure out which colors go with what. It's not like they don't have a plethora of it.

Instead of actually being productive, she was just filling balloons up with helium and sucking it in before saying things in a weird voice. Mostly making fun of Edward which in turn made Emmett and Jasper laugh. Aaron was almost positive she saw Rosalie's lips twitch up as well.

"Will you be serious!" Alice snapped looking like she was going to cry. Jokes on her, she can't. Aaron thought to herself as she let the balloon go. Everyone watched it before it smacked Edward in the face.

"Bullseye!" Aaron yelled before actually helping Alice once more. Bella looked less than enthused at her sister's childish actions. She just wished Aaron would grow up a bit.

The TV shifted and a reporter appears on the screen, sucking out all joy from the room - no pun intended.

"Police are baffled by the escalating murders and disappearances. Theories range from a vicious new gang to a wildly active serial killer... Reporting live, Dawn Chubai. CNN."

Everyone was silent as Carlisle clicked off the tv. "It's getting worse. We're going to have to do something," he commented igniting a surge of anger. How the hell did Aaron not know about this! She knew there was a danger, but not this level. AND the girl still didn't know everything.

Jasper tried to calm her down, but all it did was bounce right back at him. He sighed. "It takes more than one of our kind to cause the damage they're reporting. Quite a few more. They're undisciplined, conspicuous..." He trailed off as the memories resurfaced.

It was the last thing he wanted to think about.

"Newborns."

"I'm sorry what?" Aaron said at the same Bella said, "What, like, new vampires?" It was clear while they were only adopted sisters, they should be blood sisters. Though, the latter was more confused while the former was angrier.

"In their first few months after the change."

"That's when we're at our most uncontrollable, vicious, insane with thirst."

Aaron snapped her head toward her ex, the memory of the time they ate lunch in a classroom slapping her in the face. He must be going through inner turmoil just knowing about this.

While she was in her thoughts she almost missed blood-hungry (no pun intended) Emmett's line of something to look forward to. She couldn't help the small smile that formed. At least she wasn't the only one itching to punch something.

"No one has trained these newborns, but this isn't random."

"Someone's creating an army."

Emmett smirked and winked at Aaron. "Oh, now we definitely going to Seattle."

Bella gasped as the pieces finally started to click with the girl. "An Army of vampires?" Aaron paused with the ribbon she was tying. This was next level type of stuff.

"And they've been created to fight someone." Jaspers words sent a shiver down Aarons's spine. The Cullens are the only ones who were even remotely close to Seattle, Edward echoing her thoughts. She completely forgot he could do that.

Holes had begun to appear in her memory a lot lately and it has been bugging her. There was no reason for this to start happening. Nothing else has changed.

Carlisle sighed at his children. "Regardless, of who are they were may, if we don't put a stop to them, the Volturi will. I'm surprised they've let it go on this long." His words made Aaron confused, letting out a little who? But it was ignored as Edward began to speak.

"Maybe they're behind it. In Italy, I read Aro's mind. He wants me and Alice to join him... Our gifts would shore up his power. He knows we'd never choose him as long as our family is still alive. An army could solve that for him."

Alice hummed. "No. I've been watching Aro's decisions as well as Victoria's. Neither one of them is behind it," she commented before turning to Aaron. "Can you go to the kitchen for scissors?"

It confused the black-haired girl. She swore Alice was just using them. Not wanting to argue, she left the room as Bella began to panic about it. The timing was perfect considering it was the last thing Aaron wanted to hear.

Has she grabbed the scissors, dizziness hit her. Only catching herself on the counter. A heavy pressure made her whimper in pain. Alice was there in an instant asking if she was okay, but Aaron only heard one thing on repeat: kill her.

The urge washed over the girl before she could stop it. She had her hands around the vampire's throat, an animalistic noise emitting from her lips. At this moment, the human's strength was stronger making the vampire fall to her knees as she gasped for breath.

Cracks began to form in Alice's neck and before the final blow could be delivered, Jasper and Edward grabbed her breaking the trance in her. Both of them gasped at the same time, Alice curling into Jasper.

Jealously shot through her, but the confusion stayed forefront. "What just happened? Alice, I am so sorry. I-" she cut herself off before breaking down in tears. The girl fell to her knees and leaned against the counter. "What is happening to me?"

"Have you done this before? With the wolves?" Carlisle questioned bending down to make eye contact. As he examined them, she kept stuttering over her words.

Edward scoffed. "We should have seen this coming. She didn't even tell us she was a Védő. Which would have been nice to know." The snarkiness in his tone pissed Aaron off, despite the way she was already feeling.

"Oh shut the fuck up, Edward." Everyone was stunned. "I didn't tell you because it is none of your damn business! My main reason for living is for Bella. Sorry, I'm not crawling up your asses and forgiving you for what you put us through. Mind you, she almost killed herself. I may not get along with you lot currently, but I would never ever hurt any of you," she snapped sending everyone into silence.

"Edward, she has a point. Everything done has been for the benefit of us and Bella. We - all - need to respect her choices," Carlisle told his family. "Aaron, let's get you into the study. I want to do some tests, if that is okay?" he questioned making her smile. The duo began to walk out, Aaron pausing at Alice, who flinched.

"I am so sorry."
