And perhaps we're all a little afraid of the one who can tame the beast that's inside of us.

Since the moment I arrived in this town I had done nothing but keep control. Control my strength, control my speed, control every fiber of my being. I didn't allow myself to feel anything that could trigger it. I stayed away from anger, hate, from any extreme emotions. I stayed away from everything in fear of it happening again.
But right now I couldn't give two-shits about that.
I have never felt so much rage in my body, so much anger for one person. There was chaos inside of me just begging to come out. I could lose every bit of control I have in my body and it's all because of the same gold eyes that chained me.
I glared down at the thick metal wrapped around my wrist. Shackled down with heavy duty chains that were merely two meters long to its end. I burned every inch of that chain with a glare until I reached its source. At the end of my chain, holding me captive, was him.
The fucking bastard chained me to him, wrapped the end around his own waist.
"Don't even try, it's enchanted." I recalled his words bitterly. I have long given up on trying to break free. After spending all night trying I learned that there was nothing I could do. My strength did nothing, it didn't hurt him nor did it break it. It did not burn nor bend. It was then that I realized that there was no way out.
He even had the audacity to sleep while I tried. So I settled with glaring at him. It didn't do much, but it was the only way to get the anger out.
I groaned loudly, making his eyes turn to me. "Look, I'm perfectly calm now. So will you please let me go?" I give him the best fake smile of calmness that I could make. He didn't speak, hardly even responded as he always does.
"If you're not letting me go then what the hell do you want?!" My control breaks easily, but with my emotions all over the place I wasn't so surprised. His eyes separated from mine, going lower and lower until he looked at my hand. I followed them as well and saw that I've accidentally crushed a rock.
Well that proves I'm still the same, I thought bitterly. Then for once, why couldn't my strength work on him?
"You're dangerous Kassia. You're a threat to yourself and everyone around you." His deep, strong, even sensational voice rings in my ears. It's like his words could make my body vibrate.
But I couldn't focus on his voice right now. My rage was too big to ignore. "You tell me I'm dangerous, but I feel like you're even worse."
"I know, and look at where I am." He says without missing a beat.
"You will stay here until I say so Kassia. So if I were you I'd better get used to it." I couldn't help but flinch at the way he spoke. Hard and threatening, it's like he wasn't even capable of speaking friendly. The closest thing I got as friendly was monotonous.
I chose to shut up. I was angry but not stupid. I could tell that he has a very short fuse and right now the nerve popping on his neck told me it was about to blow if I didn't shut up.
So I tried to distract myself from him and looked around. The place was near to nothing. A few rags where I slept before, a burnt out campfire, and a small bag he kept hidden on the branches.
