Elena felt her consciousness seep away, but the dark was gradually replaced by a blurry scene. Elena squinted her eyes, trying to make sense of the small white building coming into focus infront of her. The blades of grass became distinct and she began to feel a light breeze touch her skin. Before her was the orphanage she lived in as a child.

"What..?" She whispered confusedly. How did I get here? She stepped forward toward the quiet building and saw a small child standing on the porch.
"Excuse me!" The child shouted as she ran down the stairs to the orphanage. "You shouldn't
stand in the street; it's dangerous!"

"Oh!" Elena said in reply as she walked forward. "Don't worry, I'm just fine..." The child ran straight towards her, and Elena gasped. The child ran right through her as if she were a ghost.

"How-?" Elena turned around. That child...was her. She watched as her younger version ran towards another child in the street. Was that who she thought it was? There was no way...
Elena walked toward the two children. Her suspicions were confirmed when she saw how his red eyes shone out through obsidian hair that looked too perfect for this world.

Elena felt the street beneath her rumble and tore her gaze away from the two children to see a truck barreling toward her. She screamed and covered her face, but felt nothing. Oh, right. She
was a ghost. Elena opened her eyes and stepped out so that her ethereal body was no longer overlapped with the crashed car. That's right...she remembered now.

Jimin had saved her from the truck. Elena continued following the children as time advanced through her memories. She followed them and continued remembering up until the point where Sparrow erased her memories. At that point her surroundings vanished and Elena was again left in darkness.

Jimin rushed to Elena's side as soon as she fainted.
He caught her in his arms and immediately started giving her small pulses of energy through the places where they were touching, hoping to jolt her awake. But her eyes remained closed, only scrunching her face a bit.

Jimin wracked his brain-what could be wrong? She had collapsed so suddenly, right when...she looked at Sparrow. He layer Elena down gently and stoodup.
"Sparrow!" He bellowed and lunged at him in anger.

Sparrow barely dodged Jimin's attack, thanking the stars Jimin wasn't aiming to kill. If he had been, Sparrow would have been long dead.
"What the hell did you do to her?!"
"My lord, I promise I didn't do anything. As soon as our eyes met she just-she just collapsed."

Jimin rubbed his temples, calming his temper and trying to think rationally, an extremely difficult task when it came to Elena. "You really got nothing? Fuck!" He yelled as he punched straight through the wall as if it were as thin as ricepaper.
Sparrow lifted his hands in a plea for mercy.

"Please, my lord, try to calm down. Should I call the harpies? They might be able to heal her..."
"Those fucking whores wouldn't be able to do anything I couldn't. Damn it!"
Elena started to hear bits and pieces of conversation float into her headspace. She struggled to open her eyes and groaned at how heavy her eyelids had become.

"Mmmm?" Both Sparrow and Jimin whipped around and faced Elena, who had just dazed sat up and hummed in confusion. "What's going on?" While she was looking around at her surroundings, she felt warm arms wrap around her and hold her firmly but comfortingly.

She looked up and was met with Jimin's concerned face. She smiled. He would be so happy that she remembered. She giggled happily at the thought and wondered what kind of face he would make.

"Elena ? Are you okay?" Jimin asked softly. A soft cough resounded in the background. Sparrow looked uncomfortable. "I suppose I'll come back later, my lord. I'll tell you the updates then."
