Qrow's POV:

Qrow flew alongside Raven as his eyes roamed over the streets of Vale. His eyes caught movement in the corner of his eye, spotting Winter waiting for them near one of the larger buildings. As he flew down with his sister right behind him, he noticed Winter.... kneading her hands. In his mind, he knew something was wrong. As soon as both of them landed and changed back, Raven walked up to Winter.

Raven: So, what's this lead?

Winter: It's a bit complicated.

As they talked, Qrow slipped away and pulled out his Scroll, dialing in a number. Almost immediately, Summer picked up, her voice thick with tears.

Summer: (sobs) Qrow, are you okay?! Where are you?!

Qrow: Summer.... I'm sorry. I don't have enough time to tell you how sorry I am for everything, but I'm with Raven right now. The Schnee told us that she had a lead on Y/N's group.

Summer: I don't care! Please come home!

Qrow: I can't. Please, Summer, I need you to listen. Y/N is our friend and I can't give up on him. I need to make this right.

Summer: (sniffles) Then tell me where you are. Let me come to you.

Qrow: I can't.

Summer: Qrow, I already lost my daughter! I can't lose my husband too!

Qrow: Summer..... I am sorry I couldn't save Ruby. I was too late to save her, but I... we can't leave Y/N.

Summer: (sniffles)..... Are you sure about this?

Qrow: Do you want the honest answer?

Summer: Yes.

Qrow: I can't do this without you.

Summer: (sobs) You can count on me.

Qrow: Thank you. Now, I need you to listen very carefully.

3rd Person's POV:

As soon as he finished, Qrow hung up and walked back over to Winter and Raven, smoothing over his hair.

Qrow: So, what's up?

Winter: Where's Summer?

Qrow: She's coming, but it's going to take a while. Can you answer my question, Schnee?

Winter: (nods) As I was telling your sister, I was tracking a signal here and I believed that it belonged to them.

Qrow: What signal?

Winter: (sighs) You would find out sooner or later. You both know that the White Fang has been making raids on our trains for some time, right?

They both nodded and Winter sighed before she turned away.

Winter: What you didn't know is that there was a much more recent raid that took place nearly 2 weeks after the clown and the others got out of Arkham. It was carrying an extremely valuable cargo to Vacuo.

Raven: What was it carrying?

Winter: It was a project that our scientists named 'Cloudburst'. It was a machine that was supposed to act like a mass air dispenser, just in case there was a outbreak of some sickness. There was even a function where it could spread water across a large area in case of drought. When we reached Vale, he sent me and a detachment of nearly 200 men to find it. I finally tracked it down... back to Vale.
