the boys started to enter into mikes house for a d&d campaign.
"we haven't done this in forever! i'm so excited!" will exclaimed.
mike blushed at his precious boyfriend, getting excited over playing d&d at the age of 15.
"yea, we haven't done this in so long. i'm glad we're bringing back the old days!" lucas smiled.
"yea! i'm glad to be back." dustin nodded, noting that he had just come back from camp,
this time, will had set up the campaign, becoming will the wise. he had the whole costume and wand.
as will exclaimed the lines, and the boys played their moves, it was about time everyone would have to leave.
"mike! it's 10 o'clock! it's time for the boys to leave." karen called.
"okay mom!"
as dustin and lucas packed up, mike pulled will aside.
"hey byers, can you sleepover?" mike smiled.
"yea, probably. why?"
"it's just a little dark, and i miss you. we've been so hidden from everyone."
"okay, do i need to call my mom?"
"nah. my mom has you covered." mike smiled, waving goodbye to the other boys.
as they went to head upstairs, mike grabbed three blankets for the floor.
"i'll take the floor, you can take the bed." mike suggested.
"that so unfair! baby, i'll sleep with you on the floor." will insisted, but mike fought him to stay on the bed.
the two boys had gotten settled into their beds, and stared at the ceiling for a little.
"i miss our sleepovers. they were always so fun." will sighed.
"yea, but i'm tired. night, will." mike yawned.
"night." will sighed.
but, will just still had laid there, wanting some type of embrace from his paladin.
"mike." will blurted out.
"yeah, baby?"
"can you come up here, mikey?" will scooted over to make room for mike.
he heard mike shuffle his blankets off, assuming the answer was yes.
mike climbed next to will, and will had started to wrap his arms around mikes waist, and nuzzling his head into the nook of mikes chin.
mike had also wrapped his arms around will, feeling safe.
"you know what?" mike whispered.
will had asked a very sleepy, "what?"
"i missed our sleepovers and all, but this is my favorite yet. it's just so... calming. i just get to cuddle and sleep next to the love of my life." mike said.
and before will could say anything, mike lifted his head and gave will the biggest kiss they've ever done.
and just like that, the two boys had both fallen head over heals for one another.
