mike was looking at himself in the mirror. he was wearing this soft, beige blazer with a grey sweater and blue button up shirt underneath. he had also been wearing black pants.
"mike, you ready?" karen knocked.
"u-um yeah." mike turned around, startled.
karen smiled at her son, giving him an accepting look.

will had been pacing around the room, peeking at himself through the mirror here and there. he had been wearing a white button up shirt, with a black vest and blue tie. along with some black pants, as well.
"will! sweetie it's time to go!" joyce has called.
will had come running out of his room, butterflies in his stomach.
"you look great, honey."
will smiled back, walking outside to get into the car.

mike had gotten there early, waiting for his partner to arrive, his foot lightly tapping the floor.
i'm going to my first dance with the love of my life. don't fuck it up, mike. he had thought to himself.
mike had turned his head to the sight of the small, soft eyed boy, walking into the room.
"hey, mike!" will had exclaimed, and ear to ear smile plastered onto his face.
"hey, little cleric." mike smiled, rubbing wills hair.
the boys had danced to some songs, and had some food. but, the slow dance song of the night had come on.
will had looked up at mike, giving him an anxiety filled look. will started to tear up, running out of the room.
mike had filled up with fear, and chased after will to the bathroom.
mike had slowly opened the door to the bathroom, hearing a sniffling sound coming from the stall.
"hey bud, what's up?" mike softly whispered, trying to hold back tears.
will didn't reply.
"hey, did i do anything wrong?"
"mike, you didn't do anything wrong . i love you for heavens sake." will sobbed.
"can i come in?"
will had unlocked the stall, letting mike step in.
"i'm sorry." will sobbed, falling into mikes arms.
"for what, will? you didn't do anything wrong."
"i guess i had anxiety of judgement. what would everyone think? we're the only gay couple in the school. everyone thinks we're fags."
"will. who cares what other people think? fuck them. we're in love for goodness sake! nothing can stop that." mike had said, rubbing wills back.
will didn't reply, so mike just pulled him up, and tightly embraced will.
"hey, how about we go outside instead." mike whispered into wills ear, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
will had secretly blushed as mike walked him outside.

the two boys had been slowly swinging on the swings, looking up at the stars.
"you better now?" mike asked.
"yeah." will sniffed.
they sat there in silence for a little, until will interrupted. "remember when we would goof off when we were little? and like have dnd campaigns, and had the best halloween's?"
"yeah. i would never forget it. why?"
"it's just crazy that we fell in love. or at least you did."
"what?" mike questioned.
"i've loved you since fourth grade, mike." will smiled. "you've been there for me all the time. during the episodes and that hell of a journey. you've been with me my whole life."
"will. i've loved you since then, too. i just filled in that love with jane because i refused to think i was bisexual." mike confessed.
"really?"
mike nodded, and the two boys sat there for a while.

"this may sound crazy." mike had started.
"crazy together. remember?" will had brought up.
mike had smiled, continuing, "i love you, and i could never stop loving you. you've been with me forever and when i became friends with you in kindergarten, it was the best thing i've ever done. a-and."
"and what?" will pushed.
"i want to live the rest of my life with you. i really do." mike finished, almost crying.
will had looked up at the tears filling up in mikes eyes and pulled mike over, kissing him when he reached.
mike had pushed into it, grabbing wills waist, while will pulled up onto his neck.
will had paused, whispering, "i do too, mike," and continued the kiss.
the kiss had gotten more intense, until will had gave one last kiss and pulled away.
"crazy together, forever." will smiled, pulling mike back into a kiss.
