'I feel like I get worse at writing on every chapter. It might not seem like it to you guys but it does to me.'
America was going back home when he got a message from Canada.
Dad's back so don't do anything suspicious>C

America paused mid-step to look at the message again. "Wouldn't he call us? Or mom at least? Great, now I have to deal with him too". He growled.
A<Tell him I was at Spain's
He made sure to cover up why he was out, because he surely knew his father was going to ask him, like he always does. He shoved his phone in his pocket. His good mood was all turned around and he just wanted to be done with everyone. Britain is not a good dad.
He saw his house's front door and silently walked towards it. He took a look inside through a small window the house had over the front door. Thankfully he was tall enough to reach it. Inside, as he expected, he saw his dad talking to Canada and Canada seeming nervous. He stopped looking through the window and stepped away from the door to be able to breath normally without being heard. He takes a moment to think of what to do. If he lied, Britain would probably find out. If he told him the truth Britain could literally beat him up or kick him out of the house. The only way was to reason with him, with any way possible! The possibility of him understanding is really low however. America sighed. He couldn't do it, he was too weak. Fight against his own father for his beliefs? And not bad and wrong beliefs, but rather some that are completely okay and couldn't hurt anyone. It was ridiculous. He kept going back and forth, trying to clear his mind and think of a God damn solution, when the door opened. "America? What are you doing?" Questioned Britain. America froze. 'Sh*t'. He looked over at his confused father, desperately trying not to look guitly of something. "Hi dad. I didn't know you arrived." Britain raised an eyebrow and looked back at Canada. "I thought I told you to tell him that I was home". America panicked. He didn't want his little brother to get in trouble just because of him. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and pretended to open it. "Oh yeah! I didn't have wifi where I was, so the message just arrived!". Britain looked at America again. "Mhm. Mind coming in?". America nodded and stepped inside his house at a fast pace. He prayed that he could just go to his room and not have to talk to his dad, but it just had to be the opposite. As Britain closed the front door he grabbed America's shoulder. "Let's have a small chat." America looked truly terrified but agreed. Britain then signaled France and Canada to get of the room.
They sat on the couch and Britain immediately started the question. "Did you miss me?" "Yes dad.." "Your mother?" "Of course". "How did you spend these past days? What did you do?" "Ya know, messing 'round" replied America and a nervous laugh followed. "More specifically?" "What? Do you want me to tell you the story of my life?" Said again America, a grin on his face. Inside he was dying though. "If it's what you did this week, then sure". America eyerolled and sighed at the same time. "Fiiine. Work, work, more work, fast food and hanging out with a few friends". "Which ones?" "Em- Spain.. Kazakhstan and Switzerland.." "Just those?" 'F*ck, he knows'. America thought and prepared himself mentally and physically for a punch. "Y-yes". Britain frowned. "You are a terrible liar." The moment those words came out of Britain's lips America was ready to have a breakdown. Right here, right now, but he couldn't. He was frozen in place. Britain was staring at him judgmentally.
"Dad please just leave him alone.." said a voice behind him. Britain turned around immedietly. Canada was standing on the end of the stairs, holding France's arm tightly. "I don't like it either, I just think it's harmless.". Britain noticed that his wife was standing there, not saying anything to Canada about this. She had taken his side. "Harmless? All this is harmless? Who knows what that little twat has done to this cheap excuse of a son?". That hurt America, right in the feels. He couldn't stand up for himself still."Britain stop calling America those sort of things or else you're out." Stood up France. "I am out? From what?". "House, family, whatever you want to call it." Britain seemed surprised but found it hilarious. "Keep out of this woman. Go make dinner". France let go of Canada's hand and walked closer to Britain. "How about I do not make dinner for once and care for my family? How does that sound to you?". Britain looked at her in disgust. He stood up. "Back off now." "Or what? What will you do that'll not get you in jail or beaten up?". Britain laughed once again. "Beaten up? By who?". France rolled up her sleeves. "By me". Britain's expression changed. "Back off now.". France did not. She was ready to deal with Britain right then and there. She was done with his bullsh*t and wanted to protect her children. She had had enough.
Britain went straight forward and punched her in the face, and she backed off a little. Canada immedietly reacted and jumped on him to stop him from moving. France used that opportunity and punched him on his stomach. Britain got to his knees from the pain and since he still couldn't move France kicked him right in the face, making him spit out blood. He collapsed on the floor and blood kept coming out of his mouth. He had 2 broken teeth. While all that was happening America was just standing there, scared out of his mind to do anything. It was really surprising he didn't start tearing up. France got up normally and looked at Britain, breathing heavily. She patted him a few times to make sure he was passed out. She thought he was. "Call the police, quick" France ordered Canada, which he replied "y-yes". He was shook after the whole incident. Canada went to a different room to call the police since he didn't want to look at his father's 'knocked-out' body.
After a few minutes Canada had called the police and went upstairs. America was sitting on the couch and France looking outside the window, waiting for the police. She dared turn her back on Britain. Once he found the opportunity he quietly got a gun out of his pocket and aimed at her. America saw that. He froze again, but he had to make a choice. Either do something and hopefully save her mother's life, or just stand there and watch her die and get the rest of the family in danger. He obviously wanted to help, but the thought of injuring himself or even dying because of his own father kept him in place. Britain was about to pull the trigger, he had to do something right now or he would regret it for the rest of his life.
