"Dear Diary,
It has been two weeks since Mr. Vargas' funeral. He got into a car accident and sadly didn't survive. I didn't know him too well but I wish I had. Although he was quiet rude when I met him I know he couldn't of always been that bad of a person, especially if he raised Leon. Speaking of Leon, Lucas is now taking care of him. The strange thing is is that I didn't even see Leon cry, not even once. Things have been a bit awkward between us, he's so quiet. I just wish he'd open up about how he feels"
I close my diary and put it away. I sit in a comfortable silence in my room for a moment. I grab my phone from the bedside table and call Leon. It rings 5 times before he picks up.
"Hello?" he says, his voice sounding tired.
"Hey, I was just calling to check how you were" I say as I start to pace around my room. I hear him sigh.
"I'm fine, you don't have to worry" he says.
"okay..." I say, not believing him.
"Do you wanna come over, Lucas isn't home?" he says.
"Uh, sure" I say.
"Hey" Leon says as he opens the front door of his house to let me in. I smile as I walk in. He closes the door and kisses me on the cheek. As we walk into the living room I notice dvds scattered around on the couch.
"I was thinking we could watch some movies" He says as he picks up the dvds. I smile and sit down. When he put on a movie he sat closely beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I couldn't help but feel a bit curious, just the other day he acted as though he was uncomfortable around me and now he's all over me. He's acting like his dad never even died.
"Are you okay?" he says noticing I was staring at him. I nod and smile. He stares at me for a moment before kissing me. I pull away.
"Leon, W-"
"shhh" he says as he strokes my face. He kisses me again but this time more passionately. He starts to grab at my shirt before I realize what his intentions were. I push him off me and instantly stand up.
"What are you doing?!" I say as I stare at him in shock.
"Uh-"
"Were you trying...to sleep with me?" I cut him off. He sits up and sighs.
"Isn't that what you want?" he says, "I know I've been quiet around you since my dad died"
"All I want is for you to be able to tell me things!" I sigh.
"What is there for me to say?!" he almost shouts.
"You won't tell me how you really feel about your dad dying!" I say.
"I told you, I'm fine!" he says.
"No you're not, I know how you feel. When my mom died-"
"You have no clue how I feel, you don't even remember your mother. She died before you even knew what death was!" He shouts. His eyes widen as he realises what he just said. Tears start to fill my eyes and all I feel is rage.
"Well atleast you remember your dad" I say through gritted teeth. He stares at me with sorrow.
"Violetta, I-"
"Whatever" I say, turning around and storming out of his house. I walk down the street feeling a mixture of sadness, anger and dissapointment. I can't believe he just said that to me. That's not the kind of thing you say to someone you love. I storm into my house and run straight up the stairs and into my bedroom. I slam my bedroom door and throw myself onto my bed, screaming into my pillow.
