There had only been two people in Jimin's life who made him stop and just admire their beauty. The first one was Jimin's middle school crush Haeun. And the second one? He was currently sitting at a table in McDonald's not far from Jimin's. Pale skin, dark tattoos snaking up his arms, piercings and bright hair colour. Min Yoongi was not someone his parents would have really approved of. But Jimin did. He felt what one may call silent admiration for the elder.
"I can't believe he is here for the second day in a row. Since when do the Seafoxes like McDonald's," Jeongguk complained.
After finishing school Jeongguk persuaded him to come together with Hoseok and him for a burger. The two other males did not seem as pleased to see Yoongi as Jimin, surprisingly, was.
"It's either this or he he starts setting random things on fire." Hoseok sighed. "I definitely prefer this."
"But aren't there other restaurants," Jeongguk huffed and picked at his food. "I'm losing my appetite just looking at him. Dad is gonna be pissed if he knew I was at the same place as him."
"He can't be that bad..." Jimin regretted he spoke.
"Bad!? Oh, he isn't bad! He's disastrous!" Hoseok laughed. "He's the literal definition of chaotic neutral."
"I heard he did not mind girls or boys," Jeongguk whispered. "Yugyeom and BamBam say they have seen him near a bar, hugging another boy!"
"I mean... I'm not even surprised." Hoseok laughed and took a sip from his sprite. "His father wanted to send him to bible studies so that he repents from all his sins, but I never knew the reason."
"Your family isn't even that religious! If it was me, I'd be locked in my room getting visits only by the priest who would probably try to exorcise me at least once." Jeongguk chuckled. "Hobi-hyung, is it true he has a tattoo there?"
Jimin wondered where there was. He can't have meant there, right?
Hoseok's eyes widened in shock and he put down his drink, choking on sprite.
"Why don't you find out yourself, kid." A deep husky voice spoke from behind Jeongguk. Jimin understood Hoseok. He would have choked too if he had seen Yoongi appear like a ghost surrounded in black smoke from behind Jeongguk. He leaned in close to Jeongguk's ear and whispered. Jimin could not hear what it was but whatever Yoongi had said it was effective. Jeongguk was red as a tomato and biting his lip from embarrassment.
"Hyung! Not nice," Hoseok said after recovering from his choking.
"Your mother said you were not picking up and asked me to tell you you have to get home by seven. You are having guests," Yoongi said tonelessly.
"We? And you?"
"Compared to you, nerds, I actually have a life. We are having a party over at Taehyung's." Yoongi smirked. "Oh. It's the pretty boy."
"Leave him be, Yoongi." Hoseok rolled his eyes.
Jimin was not listening until just now. At having all eyes on him, he tried to make himself appear smaller in his chair and disappear. He was never doing good when in the centre of attention.
Yoongi smirked and Jimin could not help but curse him for being so sinful by just smiling. Jimin was not supposed to feel any of this, you see. "How about you come tonight too, baby boy? I'd love to show you how a pretty thing like you should be treated." Yoongi winked and turned around. "Oh, and one more thing. Zuho said it was OK for you to come on Thursday at about five." And with that Yoongi retreated to the table where his friends were sitting.
"What are you doing on Thursday?" Jimin could not help but ask. His curiosity got the best of him.
"No need to answer. You and Jeongguk are coming with me." Hoseok grinned, his smile strongly reminding Jimin the shape of a heart.
