Jimin did not dare open the small note he had received from Yoongi until he had separated ways with Hoseok, got home, told his mum he was not hungry and closed himself in his room. Now he was looking down at the small crumpled piece of paper in his hand. Should he open it? Should he throw it away? What if Yoongi had passed him some kind of drug and his parents caught him? He was going to be dead.

With trembling hands he began unwrapping the paper. Well, you know the saying curiosity killed the cat, but very few of you had probably heard the next line: "But satisfaction brought it back". Jimin was curios by nature so he was planning on satisfying his desire to know. The words were carefully written with petite cursive letters that people usually used when they were trying to show off their handwriting. Yoongi must have put some effort into writing the simple note.

You are so pretty that you made me forgot all my pick-up lines.
Give me a second chance.

– Min Yoongi

Jimin did not know what that was supposed to mean. Of course, he had seen all the looks Yoongi was throwing in his direction. Yes, Kihyun was spouting all kinds of nonsense that made Jimin laugh internally. And Yoongi was certainly quieter than Jimin though he would be after being the one to invite him to the bar. But pick-up lines? That was something you used with girls. Really pretty girls. Jimin was not falling under that category. So why would Yoongi even think of using one?

Jimin looked again at the digits supposed to be Yoongi's number. Maybe Yoongi thought he could joke with the naive Christian kid that somehow found itself in his studio. That could at least explain all the pet names the elder man was using. The first digit was written slightly different from the others as if Yoongi's hand had wavered. Jimin could not picture a nervous Yoongi writing the small note for Jimin. He was probably laughing about it together with his friends, like Taehyung for example. They seemed close.

Jimin got a hold of his phone and entered the few digits of Yoongi's phone number. He was not going to use it now or ever probably, but he thought it was good to have it just in case.

When Jimin arrived at school that day Hoseok and Jeongguk were talking at Jeongguk's desk as per usual. However, something looked different. Oh, yes. The desk behind Jimin's was not empty that day. Jimin could see someone's blond hair resting on the wooden surface of the desk. He was wearing sunglasses on the back of his head and was not wearing the vest of the school's uniform; he was wearing a basic white shirt.

Jimin decided to ignore the newcomer. The fact that he had not been to school since the start of the school year told Jimin enough about the kind of person that the blond haired boy might be.

Jimin hurriedly placed his bag on his chair and walked back to where Jeongguk and Hoseok were. Hoseok was currently showing off his piercing on his right ear while Jeongguk was laughing.

"So you are telling me that after your big talk about not being afraid you did not even get both piercings?" Jeongguk covered his mouth with one hand as he laughed. "I bet you screamed too!"

"Of course, I didn't," Hoseok said, his brows meeting together. "Tell him, Chim. Speak of my bravery."

Jimin smirked. "He screamed."

Jeongguk's laugh grew so loud that some people turned to look at them, not that the boy seemed to mind. Jimin felt proud to make someone laugh. He could never achieve such a thing with his parents or his past 'friends'.

"Betrayed by my own friends." Hoseok shook his head even though he soon joined them and started laughing.

"I doubt either of you could have done it any way," Hoseok said after their laughs had calmed down.
