What happens when a shy unspoken girl with a passion for wrestling signs a contract with Aew to become a female version of Jon Moxley? Will he train her to be just like him or will he despise her from the start. Will one of them fall for the other o...
My hair falls in curtains around my face as I lean my head against the steering wheel. The weight of my hair is driving me crazy. In one week I sign a contract with Aew under the name Lilith Harlow, but my real name is Ashley Copeland. I was always told not to change just so someone would like me, but I have to or I will make it nowhere in this business, I of all people know that. I think the hardest part will be making a name for myself. I've watched matches before and there was one guy that stuck out and caught my attention... Jon Moxley. I talked to Cody and he said that it would be perfect to be almost like a female version of Mox; their women's division could use it.
Mox is a complete badass. He's considered the king of death matches, his style is brutal and merciless. He's one that doesn't like to listen to the refs and will use anything to his advantage. There's no way to get out of a match with him unharmed. He's the guy that you would want to avoid if you saw him at a bar but he's also the guy that can steal a girls heart in an instant. He's who I aspire to be in the rest if I want to turn into him in a week I'm going to have to make some changes.
I sigh and reluctantly get out of my car. I'm at the mall trying to give myself a pep talk knowing that once I start there's no turning back. Take a deep breath and walk into the tattoo parlor, going into this with an idea of what I want but I'm willing to change my mind. Pick up one of the books and start to flip through to see if they have anything close to what I'm looking for. I finally find it close to the back of the book... it's a forearm tattoo with skulls and roses; what caught my eye was the dagger wrapped in thorns on my wrist. I took the picture from its jacket in the book and head to the back room where Dax is already waiting.
"Oh shit you were serious about this? I was about ready to call bs and leave for the day." I roll my eyes and sit in the chair. "Oh fuck off Dax. You know me better than to call bullshit on something I've set my mind to." He just nods and starts to wipe down my arm. "I still can't believe that you're actually considering choosing Aew over Wwe. You know I respect any decision you make but that doesn't mean I can't call it moronic." I laugh and give him that 'shut the fuck up look' and he raises his hands in surrender.
"I'm not considering it anymore, I've made my choice. I meet with Cody a week from tomorrow; I have the character name and look already decided on. This is happening no matter what you or anyone else has to say." He looks like he has just seen a ghost; seeing as I'm not one to speak my mind... especially when it comes to family. Did I forget to mention that Dax is my brother-in-law?
"Damn Ash when did you learn how to speak your mind? I've never seen you like this before; maybe Aew will be a good thing for you." He shakes his head and gestures for me to hand him the picture. He looks it over a couple of times before he prints out the stencil, and places it on my arm. "You know this is going to hurt like a bitch right?" He says with smug pride in his voice. I just nod my head and the fires up the gun.
We make small talk and I talk about my persona for close to 3 1/2 hours before he says he's finished for the day. " I have to shade it in tomorrow and then you should be done. Is there anything else you want to be done before it get too close to closing time?" I think about it for a few minutes before I decide what to do. "I want something from my ribs to my thigh but I'm not exactly sure what though. Can you help me find something?" He smirks and shuffles out of the room. For the short amount of time he's gone I have time to consider what I want my hair to look like. Right now my hair stretches past my waist and it seems like I get whiplash every time I sit down; so I know I want it a whole hell of a lot shorter than it is now. The only tough part will be to decide what color I want.
Around 10 minutes later Dax walks back in to the room with a hand behind his back and a massive smirk on his face. "Ok, you don't get a choice you're getting this tattoo. I drew it up hoping you would come in and not know what you wanted. Only few people have seen it and they all love it." He looks down at the paper in his hands, then back at me. "Do you want to see it now or when it's done?" I know that whatever it is, it has to be good for him to have saved for me. I know an instant what I'm going to do.
"Don't show me, just start." He smirks and hands me a blindfold. Once I put it on I hear him start up the tattoo gun and start on my ribs. " I can't believe you allowed me to do whatever I want to do. I didn't expect this coming from you." I just shrug my shoulders and he continues his work. Around three hours later I hear the gun shut off and feel a rag wiping away the excess ink. "Alright, I think you're all done for the day if you want to take the blindfold off you can look." When I look down I'm amazed at what I see.
A gorgeous phoenix surrounded by flame and feathers is covering a span from the end of my rib cage to the back of my knee. The right wing of the majestic bird stretches from above my hip bone to my waist. The tale grasps at the skin of my thigh and wraps around the back of my knee. Flames look as if they're burning the skin surrounding the Phoenix as stray feathers falling from every direction litter my skin from my hip to my ankle. It's breath taking. "Holy shit." I say as my fingers ghost over the fresh ink on my skin. From the chair next to me I hear a deep chuckle. "So I'm assuming you like it then?" I roll my eyes.
"Yes dumb ass. Thank you, what do I owe you?" He shakes his head and waves off my question. "It's on me. Not only because your family but because you gathered the courage to make a huge career choice like this. I'm happy for you Lilith." I stand up and wrap my arms around his neck. I whisper a small thanks in his ear before walking out.
I walk over to the hair dresser that's only a few doors down from Dax. An hour and a half later I walk out with this as the finished product.

Believe it or not I cut off about ten inches. My last two stops of my day are piercings and clothes. I know what I want for piercings so that won't be a problem.
I walk into one of my favorite shops LACE AND LEATHER knowing exactly what I want.

I've had this on hold for a while and I'm finally able to have it. Lucky for me they have a pierce shop in the back so I head over after I pay. It only takes a few minutes and I'm done. I walk out with 7 in one ear and 5 in the other a nose ring and a bellybutton piercing. I'm really happy with how today turned out. I head home all while thinking... I'm finally an Elite.
