This is Maia Cardoso. She is 17. Your basic Slytherin girl, cunning, witty, wry, clever, sarcastic, resourceful, determined, ambitious, etc. She loves art, she gave herself the tattoo on her arm. She likes to be in charge but preferably from behind the scenes because human interaction is bothersome and people are stupid. However, she is loyal once you become her friend, and she probably nags her friends just a bit too much, but it's because she cares. Her name means motherly thorn, which is very fitting. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin. She isn't as smart as Gordie or Bean, but she focuses super hard and is always studying. Her hard work is why she graduated early from high school.

This is Maia's Papai (dad) Adelmar Cardoso. He is super sweet and goofy. He only speaks Portuguese, and he had a poor upbringing. He loves his family more than anything, and sometimes he doesn't remember that discipline is sometimes a good way to parent. He also is very welcoming, he considers many people a part of the family as well. He is very lax and carefree. Probably likes his beer a bit too much.
