The X(tra) Factor:

Hi! I'm Natalei Haddox, I'm sixteen! And I'm originally from The Big Easy, New Orleans, Louisana but moved to Dublin at twelve. I wanna be like big names in the world, like Beyonce and Katy Perry is a perfect example! I've been, I've been compared to her a few times and it's, it's not a bad comparison! I wanna sell out arenas and make an album and work with some of the best acts in the world! Today is the start of all of that if I get through today-it's game on.

The vocal coach gathered us around in a big circle, handing out pieces of sheet music to all of the girls. My green eyes crossed the room to meet with a pair of sky blues. She blinked as she gave me an evil smirk, turning back to face the vocal coach. Taking the sheet music, her eyes intensely scanned over the piece, tiny crinkles formed at the edges. Her lips curled up to match the evil flare behind her eyes.

"Harriet," A soft voice mumbled into my ear. I took a step back and turned to meet Lizzie's green eyes and she smiled at me before glancing over at Louisa. She took a step back next to me, almost hiding away from her. Her body tilted to the side, mumbling into my ear, "She's scary huh?"

"That's just her persona," I snapped unintentionally, shaking my head. She stood back upright, cross g her arms over her chest, "Sorry," I mumbled, concentrating on the sheet music again. Lizzie nodded at me, then looked back at the music. The coach stood in front of the class; Lizzie and I stood in the back of the group as everyone raced to be next to the coach. Louisa, of course, was front and center to the disgust and envy of the girls.

She's so pretty, I could just die. Not literally though, but I wonder if she's... No Harri, no, we talked about-we agreed. No girls. Except one.

I took a deep breath and opened my mouth to sing when I felt a hand yank me back out of the line. I looked back and met Lizzie's confused green eyes as she followed the person; I groaned as Nicole came in focus. We passed through the double doors of the backstage area, into the main arena before Nicole stopped in her tracks, throwing me down in one of the pullout seats. She plopped down in the seat next to me, closest to the aisle.

She turned around in the seat, tucking her leg under her thigh. She gripped her foot hard as she let out a deep sigh, "Hello my dear sweet Harri," She mumbled seductively under her breath as she giggled. I shook my head to clear my head and looked back at her, smiling. She nodded at the smile, her hand reached over and squeezed my thigh, "How are the auditions going?"

"Fine Nicole," I mumbled back to her. Her head snapped to look behind us, then she turned back around and looked toward the dark corners of the arena before she focused her eyes back on me with a bright smile. I cautiously nodded my head at her as she growled lowly in my ear before she sighed deeply; I leaned in closer for her message.

"I don't trust them." Oh shit.

"Who's them?" My eyes widen in surprise as I sat back in my seat, my arms crossed against my chest and my legs crossed tightly over them. Nicole minced my body language jokingly, but her face turned into a deep scowl. I sighed, clearing my throat, "Nicole-"

"Why didn't you tell me about that other girl? Don't you think you, probably, should've mentioned that as you told how the hell, you and-" Her face turned into a bright smile as she flashed her pearly whites at, "Mr. Magic Pixie Dream boy with the pretty greens and curly hair to match?" She gagged as her eyes rolled to the back of her head, "Disgusting."
