The X(tra) Factor:

Simon and Louis are looking over the different performers. The decisions have been mostly mixed, but there were a few they had some words for. Simon, however, met eyes with the devil herself and threw her photo in the trash. Louis glared over at Simon, "What the hell?"

"Her voice is horrible, her attitude is nasty, and she's just a parasite." Simon deadpanned.

Louis shook his head quickly and mentioned for an intern to take it out of the trash. He did quickly, dusting it off and giving it over to Louis, "Now she is the main one we should keep. She's too valuable to just put aside."

"But Louis, look at this face. Tell me with a straight face; you see this face on albums, in interviews, promoting tours, on posters, shirts, sweats, commercials? This face is going to be everywhere! Would you buy this face?

Louis looked at Louisa's face and smiled warmly to himself, nodding back up at Simon. He placed her photo on top of the pile, nodding to himself.

"Me and all 12.78 million of the fans that tuned in to watch her perform as well as the sales on her cover of Cult of Personality. 10.2 million." He deadpanned to Simon. Simon rolled his eyes and continued forcing through the performers. Louis shook his head but sighed in frustration at the realization that the competition was going to be "harder" this year.

I can't feel my face.

I took a deep breath while I slowly sat down on the edge of a metal chair placed in a circle with empty ones. I swallowed and rested my back against the backs, but my arms crossed over my chest while my right knee rested over my left. I started to bounce my feet on its balls through my flats.

I looked around among the performers, bouncing around and chattering among themselves as they get numbers and contacts for the future; this is because we're about to be cut in half and people who are made to do this, could be gone in the next hour. And the people with no heart or soul get passed though and that's the thing about music... I think that's what got my mom honestly.

Charlotte.

I felt a pair of eyes burnt into the back of my head, which made my neck snap behind me. I met eyes with a pair of brown eyes and an evil smirk etched on their face; the girl's smirk turned to smile as she softly waved in my direction from her area. I slowly waved back as I turned back around and lowered in my seat. I looked over toward the small group of boys that formed around Louisa.

Why did Simon call her something else though?

I watched as her nose crinkle up and her tongue shoot out as she gagged at something jokingly. I hope anyway. Geez, boys are gross. She giggled through and continued a new story with engrossed eyes as they followed her every move or curve. She's enchanting. Empowering. Powerhouse. Coming this way-Wait.

I shot up from my chair too quickly and crossed my ankles up, falling back on the floor behind me with a hard thud. I winced as my hand immediately flew to my elbow as I slowly uncrossed my ankles.

"Hey! Are you okay?" Four voices said at the same time, and I slowly pushed myself on my elbows and looked at the faces around me. Lizzie, Louisa, The girl with brown eyes and a blonde girl with brown hair but she looks Barbie.

I tried to sit up a bit more but my back gave out on me and I laid back down on the ground with a groan, "Fine. Just my back," I mumbled up to the ceiling. I heard someone sigh in relieve while I heard someone else snap their fingers, and now I'm on my feet. Magic.
