 🤬 🤬 🤬

My suitcase decided to be heavier than an elephant at the worst time possible. I huffed in frustration while throwing my Duffy on my shoulder, popping the handle out of the suitcase and rolled it with all my might instead.

"Louisa!" I groaned as I chased after her quickly, hopping down off the ledge of the sidewalk and tripping onto the ground into a tiny puddle of water. I sniffled and slowly pushed myself back up to my feet, dusting my knees off. My face heated a bit as I looked down at my pants; they're soaking wet and muddy. I swallowed, my hands on my hips as I looked at the sky as I tried my very damnest not to scream to the tops of my lungs.

Just my fucking luck. I get mud all over my fucking clothes and my dad isn't here to give me a new pair of pants.

"Here," Someone thrust a hoodie hard into my chest. I gasped as my hands grabbed onto quickly. I slowly wrapped the hoodie around my waist and mumbled a thank you to the stranger. There a small chuckle at the person's side and I heard a very distinguishing groan.

"Dad, stop."

 🤬 🤬 🤬

Louisa.

"Thank you again, Louisa," I finally met her eyes and I swear I felt the air leave my lungs, and I felt Jesus like left my soul. I didn't even know that was possible; I stood in front of Louisa but like, the guy next to her was, really hot. Like... Too hot. You know what I mean?

"Come on LoLo, be nice to your friend," The guy mumbled, LoLo? Louisa groaned and turned back around to him, picking up her stuff off the ground. She rested the strap on her shoulder, the guy smiled down at her and then back at me, "Hi I'm Jonah, but you call me Jay." He held his hand out to me, and I looked down at it. Then back up at him.

He has to be joking. Right?

"Oh my god! Louisa, your dad is totally DILF!" I heard someone shriek from behind me. I kept my mouth shut as I resisted the urge to laugh, as Lizzie came running up next to my side, gently tapping me out of the way. I took a tiny step away from her as I kept my eyes trained to the ground and my mouth closed. Lizzie grabbed Jay's hand and shook it hard with a bright smile, "I'm Lizzie! But you can call whatever you want, I don't care really. I just like your voice, and your face, and your-"

"Lizzie, stop hitting on my dad please," Louisa huffed at his side.

Lizzie blushed and pulled her hand away slowly, "Sorry. He's hot and older, I can't help it!"

Jay laughed at Louisa's side as he gently stabbed her side. I looked back up at the two of them with warming in my cheeks. I swallowed hard as Louisa turned away from him, walking off when she slammed into Zara, or... Someone who looked like Zara anyway.

"Hey hey, watch where you're going, please!" Zara yelped as she ran to her dad's side. Louisa sat on the ground with her hand rested on the back of her head. Jay walked over and helped her up slowly; Zara dropping her stuff on the ground with a plop as she forced her dad to turn around to face all of us, "Ko Louisa tena, papa." (That's Louisa, dad.) She mumbled to the tiny Danny DeVito fella.

Lizzie and I covered our mouths to resist from laughing. Jay helped Louisa up as he gently dusted her off, Louisa laughed so hard she almost fell down again. Zara stomped over and caught Louisa by the collar quickly, "Ka kai koe i ō tēnei." (You will regret this.) She growled, but Louisa continued to laugh to herself. Zara letting go of her collar and gently shoving her arm, "Fuck you."

"Fuck me? Your dad is a whole ass tater tot and you don't want me to laugh? Maybe you should've mentioned that huh?" Louisa huffed as she stepped closer to Zara.
