A/N: This is based on 5x18, Point of No Return. Enjoy!

I looked out the window at the scrapyard from the spare bedroom that had been mine for four months. Apollo was on my lap purring. I stopped scratching his head and pulled him up to my face.

"I know they said that I should stay here but I can't help it. I miss Dean. I'm worried about him too." I set Apollo down and got off my bed.

I concentrated on where I wanted to go. I thought about the Impala. The shiny black paint and the comfortable seats. I opened my eyes. I was in an impala. Not Dean's impala of course not. I was at a car dealership. I ducked down and concentrated again. I had to think of something that reminded me of the boys. I was beginning to feel tired when I remembered something from the first day. I basked in the memory of the fierce blue eyes. That is who I had to focus on.

I blinked open my eyes. Blue eyes stared into mine. Castiel's face was tight with fear or possibly concern. I knew this was real because I was in a motel. I let Cass help steady myself and that was when I noticed Dean on the floor and a box of things on the table.

"He is fine. He is only unconscious."

I crossed my arms before averting my eyes from Dean to Castiel then to Sam and finally I stepped over to the box. "What is this?"

For the past nearly five months I had been learning how to be a hunter, how to survive being on team free will and how to use my angel powers. But I was not prepared for Dean giving up.

I sat on the counter licking an icecream cone as I tried to ignore the argument which seems like a normal conversation in the hunter lifestyle. I felt sorry for Bobby having to deal with Dean.

"What the hell happened to you?"

"Reality happened. Nuclear's the only option we have left. Michael can ice the devil, save a boatload of people."

"But not all of them. We gotta think of something else."

"Yeah, well, that's easy for you to say. But if Lucifer burns this mother down, and I coulda done something about it, guess what? That's on me."

"You can't give up, son."

"You're not my father. And you ain't in my shoes."

Oh he would pay for that later. I teleported to my room and flopped onto my bed. In just five months I had found a family. The apocalypse was ruining that. I closed my eyes but couldn't sleep. I heard a ringing in my ears that at first felt like a dull ache but became so painful I couldn't stand it and fell unconscious.

I groaned as someone shook me awake and carried me downstairs. I could tell it was Sam. My head hurt too much to open my eyes but as soon as I heard another voice my eyes shot right open and I fell out of Sam's arms. Another man was in our living room. "How many guys do we need?! Can't one of you's be a girl?!"

"Who's she?"

"I am Kaylee." I said standing up.

I noticed Cass eyeing me and wasn't surprised when he pulled me upstairs and shut my bedroom door behind me. I eyed him quizzically although it was quite hard. I had mostly gotten over him trying to kill me and now I was focused on his bright blue eyes. His face was straight but I could tell something was wrong. Something was troubling Castiel. He stopped only inches from me and I had a hard time controlling myself not to fake falling so he could hold me in his arms like he had the first day. He held my wrist so that I couldn't disappear but who would?

"You have to be careful around Adam. The angels have persuaded him to be Michael's vessel. He could give you away to the angels and they would kill you."
