I looked at my watch and tripped over a rock. "Dammit." Apollo had wiggled from my arms after being crushed. He sat staring into my face as I slowly sat up. I scratched Apollo's head. He purred in satisfaction. "Would be easier to travel if you had been a dog." Apollo gave me one of the dirtiest looks ever. At least if you believe they can give you dirty looks. I laughed. I began to think over my life as I layed down in the cornfield. The green shoots waved in the wind and shaded my face. My eyes fluttered close.

Blue eyes stared fiercely into my deep brown eyes. Strong arms held me from falling. My breath caught in my throut. Our faces were inches apart. My heart began to race. He was looking at my eyes but then glanced at my lips before flashing back up to my eyes. Oh my god. Had I imagined it? He was staring into my eyes as if he could see through them to my soul. I closed my eyes expecting a kiss. I felt nothing. I opened them and I was standing. I was facing the other man, Balthazar, who leaned against a tree. "An angel hacked your mother to do PG 18 stuff and you were a result. Congratz." My eyes widened before considering this. There was a swirl of scenery causing me to shut my eyes till the swaying had finished. I was lying on a bed. My room was white. Plain. My pillows were a blank, dull, flat white and my blankets were a yucky red. Something was laying on me. Apollo was laying on me. I was petting him. The door to my room was thrown open and a man raged in. A china doll was smashed and I felt myself being yanked to my feet. Apollo hid under the bed as the man swore and screamed in my face. I could feel fear now but in a plain mirror on my dresser showed my face. I was nine. My face was blank showing no emotion. I was only nine. My brown eyes were dull and my ash blonde hair hung limply beside my face. I felt like crying but I didn't. I didn't move my mouth but my voice carried out to the man. "I'm leaving." It was stated as fact with no emotion. The man shoved me and I fell to the floor. My head dropped to hide in my knees. I raised my head. I was standing at the edge of a street. A backpack was slung on my back. I heard kids playing in a yard. A bell rang and kids ran into a building. I turned back to the street and waited for the traffic to stop. I crossed with a bundle of buisness people out on their lunchbreak. I was getting plenty of strange looks. I continued along the street. The day began to dim and streetlamps flickered on casting eerie shadows across the road. A barn was surrounded by a pasture with sleeping cows. I climbed through the wooden fence and walked between waving grass stems. I opened the barn door and pulled a flashlight out of my backpack. I went to a trough and looked at the water. I was really thirsty. I cupped some water in my hands and slurped it out of my hands. I had disturbed the water. I waited until the ripples smoothed to be as flat as grass. I was really young. No more than five or six. I climbed onto a hay bale and fell asleep.

I opened my eyes and was relieved to find me laying beneath the corn with Apollo sleeping on my chest. I sat up and held a now fully awake Apollo in my lap. I had been dreaming. "Am I really an angel?" I asked Apollo holding him up to my face. "I thought I was superwomen or something. I envisioned an ice cream cone and began to soothe myself with the sweet taste. Ice cream helps everything. Okay not everything. If you were bleeding to death it would't help you live but it would sweeten the moment. In this particular moment I had my favourite kind. Mint chocolate chip. Ice cream dripped on my shirt so I envisioned a new outfit. I was wearing a soft blue tank top and blue jean short shorts. I could pull of some awesome flirting in this outfit. Like I ever flirted.

I carried Apollo out of the field and to the road. I signaled to cars for a ride to the next town. Few cars came and the ones that did had no space or wouldn't stop. I walked for another hour until a car pulled up and offered a ride. It was a white sunfire. I could tell it was a rental. I jumped into the car with a quick thanks to the driver. I sat in the car, exausted from  my early morning. The man was obviously unhappy with his car. I peeked over at him.

He. Was. Hot.

He had brown hair and was wearing a jacket that brought out his eyes. He turned his green eyes on me. "So, uh...what brings you out here? There is nothing out here." I tore my eyes from him so he wouldn't find me creepy. The scenery was beautiful but I turned back to face him. "Just a fight with my ex." What the hell are you talking about? A voice asked in my head. You've never dated in your entire life. "He was a jerk. Cheated on me." I smiled at him. "Oh I am Kaylee."

"I'm Dean." The man replied eyeing my cat. I noticed he had a bit of an accent. I didn't want to seem like I was snooping but asked him anyway. "Are you from around here?" I promise I am not a creeper. Dean shook his head. "No I am from America." I thought about the country below me. I had never been there. I had always been in Canada. "Have you ever had a kinder egg?"

"A what?" Dean asked confused. In my mind I was slapping myself. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! "Nothing really." There was a rustle in the backseat. "Dean I-" I turned around and screamed. It was that freaking man Castiel! When the hell did he get in? Dean pulled over and swore. "Shit." I jumped out of the car and held Apollo against me. I backed away slowly. Dean got out and walked up to me slowly. "Calm down."

I turned and ran. I didn't get far at all. Castiel appeared infront of me. I stumbled backwards and fell. "Stay away from me!" I screamed. His hand was holding the blade. Dean came up. "Woah. Wait. Cass what is going on?"

"He's a rapist or serial killer! Him and his friend!" I screeched staring at Castiel.

Dean actually laughed. He laughed! There is a man with a sword pointed at my chest and he is laughing?! What the hell is wrong with him?

Then it hit me. Dean was a partner with Castiel and Balthazar. "Holy cr-" Dean interrupted me and disarmed Castiel. I got to my feet. "Okay Cass, why in hell are you threatening to murder someone?" Once again I heard a rustle behind me. Arms grabbed me and spun me around. "Hey Sugar." It was Balthazar.
