I was staring out the back window of the Impala as it raced down the road in the dark night.

"Drive faster, Dean."

"I can't! Are you okay Sam?"

"Yeah, I'm amazing."

"You ever seen that many?"

"No. No way, not in one place."

"What the hell?"

"Damn it."

I cover my head and ears expecting Dean to crash into something. A large truck has enochian words blaring on its speakers and water is arcing from hoses at the demons. I couldn't hear the words because I covered my ears. The impala stopped.

"Well that's something you don't see every day." Dean said as stared up at the truck.

A man asks us if we are alright.

"Peachy."

"Be careful. It's...dangerous around here."

The man goes to leave but Dean calls to him.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. "

"No need to thank us."

I was pretty sure that wasn't Dean's intentions and I was right.

"No, hold up a sec! Who are you?"

"We're the Sacrament Lutheran Militia."

"I'm sorry-the what?"

"I hate to tell you this, but those were demons and this is the Apocalypse. So...buckle up."

I wanted to laugh cause it's kind of funny that the main guys involved in the Apocalypse were being told that it was the Apocalypse. Of course this made Dean show the guy all his weapons.

"Looks like we're in the same line of business. " Sam stated.

"And among colleagues. That's a police-issued shotgun. That truck is, uh...inspired. Where'd you guys pick up all this crap?"

Ah. There's the Dean I know. Dean doesn't just show his trunk for nothing.

"You know you pick things up along the way."

Sure.

"Guys, come on. This whole corner of the state is nuts with demon omens. We just want to help. That's all. "

"We're on the same team here. Just talk to us."

"Follow us."

We were in a church where a marriage was taking place. The pastor came over to us after the ceremony. I watched the people in the church.

"So Rob tells me you boys hunt demons."

"Uh...yes sir."

"You missed a few."

"Yeah. Tell us about it. Any idea why they're here?"

"They sure seem to like us, though. Follow me, gentlemen and..."

I turned to look at the pastor.

"Kaylee."

We followed the priest and like usual I didn't utter a word.

"So you're a preacher?"

"Not what you expected, huh?"

"Well, dude, you're packing."

Dean had just called a pastor dude. Wow.

"Strange times."
