When Walls Crumble

Introduction

This is a 'Lukanette' fanfiction.

I know many of you detest this in principle because no one wants to see the two main characters being split apart.  

Bear with me for the first several chapters.  I promise you won't be disappointed.  And if it ever hurts you to read, know that it probably hurt me to write.

EDIT: Apparently people were shocked and slightly mad with things that happened later in the story because of the expectation created in this little intro here.  So I suppose, without spoiling, I should probably note that this story will feature MORE than just Lukanette.  

My above assessment that Lukanette is unpopular is apparently so wrong, so ignore that.  

Through what I personally think is a perfectly reasonable progression of events, the main characters find themselves in different relationships with each other, sometimes romantic, sometimes not.  Lukanette is the primary basis for the story, but it isn't the only ship to make an appearance.  All that said, I hope you can all still enjoy this!

NOTA BENE:

So I was 40 something chapters in when I found out Adrien isn't spelled 'Adrian' but at that point I was NOT gonna go back and fix it so I stuck with it until the end.  I hope it doesn't bother you too much.

ALSO I started writing this before most of season 3 had come out.  So whenever more information was published canonically, I basically incorporated it in if it would work, but otherwise I just ignored it.  At one point, I know I had a character mention the time Cat Noir got akumatized because I had seen that Cat Blanc was coming out.  Obviously, now having seen that episode, the reference no longer makes sense, but just bear with it.  I didn't want to change it.
