Chapter 18: One More Dance

"Oh, no!" he murmured to himself. "Not at the wedding!"

He pulled out his pager.

Ladybug, you better get to Marinette's wedding fast. Lila's just been akumatized again and I'm pretty sure she turned invisible. I don't want to engage without your abilities. Should I get help?

Marinette's pager buzzed and she ducked to the side to read the message.

"Mere de Diu!" she muttered reading it.

Luka was at her side in an instant. "What? What is it?"

"Lila akumatized here. Invisible with other unknown powers. Cat Noir came by and saw her get akumatized. I need to transform."

Luka grabbed her arm as she turned to leave. "Let me help."

"Luka..."

"Don't you dare try to tell me it's too dangerous. This is our wedding and I want to help."

She smiled. "I love you."

She took the pager back out.

You said it was Marinette and Luka's wedding? Get the snake miraculous for Luka. He'll want to help. I'll be there as soon as I can.

The reply came almost instantly. You got it, Bugaboo. Any others I should get while I'm there?

Marinette thought about it. The illusion and venom might be helpful. I'll warn Rena and Chloe that we'll need them. Thanks!

"Alright, love," she said to Luka. "He's coming with your miraculous. I've got a couple of other people to enlist. Don't be too hard for him to find."

Luka nodded and Marinette rushed to the bathroom to change.

"Yikes," Tikki summed up the entire situation, floating out of the bag.

"Darn right. Will my hair be recognizable if I change?"

Tikki shook her head. "I can change it and change it back when you're done."

"Thanks. Spots on!" She slipped out the window and snuck around the pavilion to find Nino and Alya sitting at a table together laughing. She snuck to the turntable and nudged the record, causing Nino to get up and fix it. At that moment, she caught Alya's attention and pulled her to a shadowed corner.

"We're going to need your help."

"Why? What's happening?"

"Someone's been akumatized. Cat Noir is getting your miraculous along with two others. But for now, we have to be subtle. Lila turned invisible or she teleported. We don't want to give up the element of surprise. Send Chloe over here. We'll need her too."

Alya nodded, her game face on.

Soon, Chloe walked over, a slightly confused look on her face. She lit up upon seeing her idol waiting for her.

"Ladybug? What's going on?"

The red-spotted heroine quickly explained. Chloe nodded determinedly.

"You can count on me!"

"Good. Cat Noir will be here soon."

Soon, all five superheroes were assembled on the roof, looking for clues of the invisible adversary.

Viperion grabbed Cat Noir's arm and pointed. "There."

All four sets of eyes followed his arm. Kagami stood up with an enraged expression on her face and her lips blacked over.
