Luka sat patiently waiting on the freshly repaired bridge where they had shared a little ice cream hours before. All the revelations of the day had his head playing at Forte Allegra. Marinette was Ladybug, so he was now dating a superhero. A superhero who's partner flirted with her on a daily basis. Other boys might have felt a spark of jealousy, but Luka trusted her.

A familiar zipping sound attracted his attention. He looked to the right to see Ladybug land at the foot of the bridge. She signaled him to wait while she ducked into an ally to change back. A moment later, Marinette walked up and sat next to him on the bench.

"What a day!" she sighed, looking out over the Seine to the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Luka gently rested his arm over her shoulders. Sure, there may be a beautiful view of the Seine, but looking at her face was all the view he needed to make his heart beat wildly to the rhythm of a thrilling dance.

"So, Marinette," he began. "Was that a date?"

She smiled. "The ice cream or the crime-fighting?"

Luka laughed. "Both, I guess."

"Well," she began. "I wasn't sure if it would be at first, but with how everything played out, it was definitely a date."

Luka looked down at his hands. Moment of truth: "Would you want to maybe go on another?" he asked, scared to look at her face, but forcing himself to. What he saw was almost too much for him to process at the moment. By the time his face was parallel with hers, hers was right in his as she had thrown herself on him in a tight embrace. She squealed with laughter and joy right in his ear, but he didn't mind.

"Yes! Yes!" she shouted, overjoyed, and completely unaware of the fact that she was bursting his eardrums.

Not that he cared. It was the sweetest music he had heard in a long time. She pulled away just enough that he could see her beautiful bluebell eyes.

"Marinette, I-I..." he trailed off. Luka was at a loss for words. He was never at a loss for words. Especially not when his guitar was with him.

"Luka..."

He stopped thinking and followed the music. Before he knew it, he had closed the gap between them and they were kissing. Her kiss was short-circuiting his brain, accelerating his heartbeat and causing key changes in his thought process. He loved her. That much he knew for certain.
