-Early the next morning(Day 2 at 3 am)-
"Wake up guys! It's time!" Lucas and Jet say all ready to go.
"Ugh!" Bethany says waking up.
Everyone gets up and is ready to start an adventure they'll surely never forget.
"Let's begin this journey," Max says.
"First, 1000 paces forward into the depths of the jungle," Lucas says.
They all start counting their paces as they walk deeper and deeper into the dark jungle.
"998, 999, 1000," Avery says out of breath.
"To the left, to the left," Max says.
They all go down the path until they reach an intersection.
"Right!" Sabrina shouts.
They head down that right path till they reach the old bridge.
"Upstream and quick," Riley says as the sky starts to get filled with light.
They all quickly rush up the river, stopping in aw when the come face to face with a huge beautiful waterfall. A cute little monkey comes out from behind the waterfall and greets the group.
"And that must be Juno," Max says pointing to the monkey.
"Hello Juno. Will you show us the way to the temple?" Lucas says bending down to the monkey.
"He doesn't know english. It's a monkey for god's sake!" Bethany says.
Juno gives Bethany a strange look and then nods his head yes.
"I stand corrected," Bethany says surprised by Juno.
The group follows Juno closer to the waterfall. He points behind the waterfall to a secret door. They all follow him behind the waterfall.
"What does this button do?" Max says as he pushes it.
"Max no!" everyone yells before they fall down to the depth of the temple.
"Ahhh!" they all scream.
Suddenly, they hit a sand floor. They start to stand up slowly.
"Max, why did you...woah," Lucas says as he looks around the temple.
Juno watches them being mesmerized by the inside of the temple.
"Hello travelers," the temple says. "It is I Toltec. I see you found the way in," he says.
"Yup. We came in with a huge bang," Avery says.
"Haha. You all are the first ones to ever come to the temple in years," Toltec says.
"That's cool...I guess..," Bethany says.
"Hey Toltec. Can you tell me why the people who were trapped on this island before never bared to look for you?" Jet asks.
"Ah, good question young sir. See the people who got trapped on here never saw my clues. They didn't care about adventure or dared to even explore enough to find the temple. They had one goal: to get of the island," Toltec explains.
"Interesting," Jet says.
"But yesterday you guys appeared and thought to try it. You guys found my clue and are here now for the adventure," Toltec says.
"Pretty much," Corey says.
"Juno! Give them their next clue," Toltec says.
Juno runs over and gives Lucas the next clue. Lucas unrolls it and begins to read it.
"Welcome to the temple! In order to get the treasure, you must find me, Toltec, hidden deep within. But that's not easy. The temple has all kinds of surprises waiting for you. Good luck travelers," Lucas reads aloud.
"All kinds of surprises?" Bethany says confused.
"Adventure," Sabrina says.
"Good luck travelers and ps, you have till next sunrise to find me, the treasure and your way out in time to the portal. I'll tell you, it's not easy," Toltec explains. "Goodbye for now," he adds.
Juno stays with the group, watching their every move.
"Well, let's find Toltec and his treasure," Max says.
They all walk deeper into the room; having nowhere to go but to a door on their left with a sign next to the entrance titled 'The Maze'.
"I guess our first surprise is a maze," Riley says.
"Oh great," Bethany says.
"Everyone stick together," Lucas says while entering the maze.
Juno jumps onto Max's shoulder. Everyone walks together slowly through the dark maze.
