They all run off into the dense jungle, in pursuit of the next clue. They slowly enter the jungle with their heads locked on looking up the trees.

"Anyone find it yet?" Bethany whines.

"No," they all reply.

"Oh wait...I found something," Max says. Everyone runs over to him.

"Up there, the hole in the top of the tree. It has something sticking out of it," Max explains to the rest of the group.

"How are we gonna get it genius," Bethany asks.

"We climb of course," Corey says.

"I'll get it since I found it," Max says.

He starts to climb up the tall tree. Slowly he gets to the hole in the top of the tree.

"I'm gonna throw it down! Catch it!" Max yells.

Max throws down a wrapped up bag. Lucas catches it.

"Nice catch Smiles. You're definitely gonna make the baseball team," he says climbing down the tree.

"Thanks bud," Lucas says with a smile.

Max gets to the ground and wipes off the dirt on his clothes.

"Open it," Avery says, wanting to know what's gonna happen next.

Lucas unrolls the bag and opens the big pocket, revealing another clue. The rest of the group crowds around Lucas. He opens the folded note and starts to read it aloud.

"I see you found the clue. I also see you are determined to find this temple of mine. To bad it only opens at sunrise. To get there you must follow these directions from the opening of the jungle. Take 1000 paces forward. You'll come to a path on the left. Take that path till it comes to an intersection. Take the next path that's on the right. Follow it until you come to a bridge over a river. Follow the river upstream until you come to a lake with a waterfall. At the waterfall, you'll find my assistant, Juno the monkey. He will take you from there. Remember the temple opens at sunrise so be up early for an adventure. Signed, Toltec. P.S. you'll need this bag so bring it with you," Lucas finishes reading.

"Perfect! We'll head out on the journey an hour or two before sunrise," Jet says.

"What time is it?" Bethany asks.

"Dinner then dark," Corey explains.

"Let's head back to camp and eat cause I'm starving," Avery says.

"Agreed. Let's go," Sabrina says.

They all walk back to their camp. By the time they get back, it's already getting dark. Corey and Max start making a fire. Everyone joins them by the bank.

"Light it up up up," Avery says.

Everyone laughs but Bethany. Max lights the sticks on fire with a match. The fire lights up the darkness that is slowly creeping in.

"What's for dinner?" Riley asks.

"Canned chicken soup," Jet says pouring three cans into the pan they found over the fire.

Lucas hands everyone a piece of freshly washed bark.

"Dig in!" Corey says.

They all dig into the soup, leaving the pot clean as can be.

"Yum!" Max says patting his stomach.

The fire is keeping everyone warm and close. The night sky is dark and filled with stars. Lucas runs up and grabs the big worn out old blanket he found from their hut. They all wrap themselves in it and talk for awhile.

"Let's head to bed now for our early morning hike tomorrow," Corey says.

"Good idea," Bethany says starting to stand up.

"Hey Bethany," Lucas says.

"Yeah?" she says looking down at him.

"You're not as bad as I thought you were. People change from middle school," he says.

"I guess. I'm sorry for all of that. Let's forget about it and just have fun on this weird adventure we somehow got into," Bethany says.

Max and Avery put out the fire with some water. Everyone heads up to their hut and gets under the big blanket.

"Watch is set for 3 in the morning," Jet says.

"Perfect," Corey says.

"Let's get ready for any adventure we'll never forget," Sabrina says.

"Good night guys," Riley says.

"Night," they all respond.

They all fall asleep underneath the starry night on the island.
