Chap. 32 { Mama Tee's Visit.. }

-{ TEYANA POV }-

"What do you think about this?" Makayla asked showing me a picture of a blue and white lingerie set.

"I think the fuck yes! Vincent would love it! You wear that for his birthday, you will get pregnant. Mark my words." I said feeding Carter his bottle. She laughed.

"Girl bye. Unlike Christopher, Vincent knows how to pull out." She said and my mouth dropped and I playfully pushed her.

"Don't talk about my husband like that." I said.

"I mean hey, it's the -"

Knock Knock...

I got up from the couch laying Carter in my arm continuing to feed him his bottle. I opened the door seeing Mama Tee.

"Oh, Mama Tee. Hi. What brings you here?" I asked steeping to the side allowing her to come in.

"Hi my grand baby!" She smiled kissing Carter. "I need to talk to you.." She said looking up at me. I nodded closing the door already knowing what this is about to be about.

Christopher more likely told his mama about our conversation which I'm not surprised about because she is his mother. "Oh hi Makayla," Mama Tee said.

"Hey Mama Tee." She smiled.

"Do you mind if I talk to Teyana for a little bit?" She asked Makayla.

"Um..."

"It's fine Mama Tee, Makayla knows everything already." I said cutting Makayla off before she could answer. I sat back down putting Carter's empty bottle on the table. I sat him up patting his back for a burp.

"Look at these rolls!" Mama Tee smiled playing with Carter's legs and he smiled looking at her while bubbling on his fingers.

"He's so fat." Makayla said.

"Because of this," I pointed to the empty bottle. "Chris tends to give him more after his first full bottle." I shook my head and they laughed.

"Speaking Of Chris..." Mama Tee started crossing her legs. Makayla cleared her throat sitting up. "He told me about the August situation..."

"Yea..." I said looking at Carter. Once he burped, I sat him in his walker and he put his pacifier in his mouth. "Do you know where Christopher is now?"

"Yea. We just left from lunch. He wanted to spare time that way he can pick up Cameron and A'Layah." She explained and I nodded.

Cj and Aubrey have to stay after school daily for their practices. They usually get a ride home so that saves gas for Chris and I.

"Oh thats cool. So, what's up?"

"I know you have a caring heart, I understand that. But Teyana, you know allowing Carter to see August isn't a good idea.." She said. I rolled my eyes looking away

"Everyone is telling me that. What you guys don't understand is that this is August's first child. His mother's first grandchild! He was falsely accused of being the father of someone's child before and it crushed him! It's been his dream to have a -"

"Your defending him? DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HE DID TO YOU!?!!" Makayla yelled cutting me off. "He doesn't deserve to see Carter. I said it before, and I'm going to continue to say it.." She said shaking her head.

"I agree.." Mama Tee said. I sighed shaking my head.

"So what, y'all want me to just break this off? After bringing him see August for the last few months and I'm sure he's used to seeing his face, break it off?" I asked them.

"You're going to have to." Mama Tee said. "His mother is just going to have to swallow the pill that she won't ever meet her grandson because of something that her son has done." I broke down crying.

They don't even understand. They think it's so easy to cut people off like that in my baby's life when it's not!

"She's such a nice woman..." I said sniffing. "My grandmother treated her like a daughter." I said. They both stayed quiet.

"She'll get over it Teyana, damn." Makayla said.

"She's going to hate me now!" I yelled. Carter looked at me. "Look at him, looks just like his dad father.." I said wiping my nose.

"She's going to be okay and hopefully she understand. Carter has a grandmother already," Mama Tee smirked. I looked at her and laughed a little shaking my head. "He don't know her anyways." It got quiet then we all started laughing . Carter looked at us and then joined.

"What you laughing at?" I asked him. He smiled at me and rolled himself to Mama Tee. She wasted no time taking him out the walker.

"You and Chris are going to have to y'all when he comes back home.." Makayla said. "And there is goin to have to be some kind of agreement." She continued.

"What do I tell his mom?"

"Just be straight up. Tell her you don't think it's best for August to continue seeing the baby and end the line. You don't owe her an explanation. I'm sure she knows how her son gets down. She knows you've been held on a island with her son." Mama Tee said.

"Okay..." I said sniffing. "I need to use the bathroom." I got up walking upstairs. I sighed taking a deep breath walking to our bathroom.

I fixed my hair a bit and grabbed a napkin wiping my eyes.

I don't know how I'm going to tell August that he won't see Carter again. He's been doing so good with him seeing Carter.

Who knows what's going to happen when I tell him he can't anymore?

His family is going to hate me.
