Chap. 21

Just A Quick Update..

-{ TEYANA POV }-

I walked into Makayla's office seeing her applying more makeup.

"Hey, what's going on?" I asked her.

She sniffed, "Chris and I had breakfast at IHOP because he wanted to talk to me." She said. I frowned.

"What do you mean? For what?" I asked. Chris never told me he was going to talk to Makayla about anything. It kinda pissed me off that he went behind my back and went talk to her. He could've easily told me this morning in the bathroom that he was meeting up with Makayla at IHOP.

"He wanna say that I'm wrong for telling you about aborting the baby or signing the baby up for adoption. But it's just my opinion!" She said. I closed the door behind me.

I knew he was going to end up talking to her about what I told him last night.

"Makayla, I get that but you know Chris -"

"AND THEN, He wants to tell me that I need to start supporting you! SUPPORTING YOU! I've been supporting you our whole life since we've been knowing each other! I know MORE shit about you than he does! I just feel disrespected that he would say something like that. I SUPPORTED HIS WHEN YOU WERE GONE! Who the hell he thinks he is? I know that's your husband and everything baby girl, but he needs to get it together. Ever since you came back, he's been protective and shit. I'm still going to feel the way I feel. And hopefully, you can see that I, your best friend, who've you've been longer than your husband, knows your deepest darkest secrets that he doesn't know, and know everything about you, feel that you shouldn't keep the baby. Trust me, in the end I'm going to be right and you know it sis. I love you so much and hope you make the right decision." She leaned down kissing my cheek and grabbed her make up picking it up in the closet.

"Makayla I get where your coming from. Trust me, I really do. But Chris is just protecting me and being the husband that he is. I told you that he was against them both so you kinda should've knew that he was going to react the way he did. You have a point and he does also! He's accepting this child Makayla. If touch the baby isn't his, he accepts the baby and will love the baby like the baby is our own!" I explained to her. She shook her head.

"It's not right.." She said. "You shouldn't keep this baby Teyana."

"Makayla he's my husband! What do you want me to do?!" I asked her.

"I'm supporting you with the decision you make." She said and kissed my forehead then walked out the office.

I sighed looking out the window thinking about what just happened, what she told me, what I told Chris, and our conversation about the baby situation. 

-{ CHRISTOPHER POV }-

"Dude ion know wassup wit Makayla. It's just weird that she would try to talk Teyana into something like that. She haven't done it with our other kids." I said shaking my head.

After talking to Makayla, I hit up my brother Devon to talk to him about what happened.

"What do you want her to do?"He asked me.

"I'm telling her to keep the child. Just because it's not my baby don't mean I want her to abort or send the baby away. I couldn't do that to an innocent life! When we was going through the situation with Farrah, Teyana was there for me. Even though she didn't really like that Farrah was around, she was there." I explained and he nodded.

"I mean, I see both sides but I don't think abortion should be in the conversation." He said.

"So what you think she should do ?" I asked him.

He sighed shrugging, "I honestly don't even know bro to be honest. I mean, if y'all keep the baby, that's when Makayla's point start kicking in. Teyana might start thinking about the dad more and shit could happen. Never know. But then, if she was to give the baby away, then she would definitely regret it."

"I don't know. She said she's not going to change her mind and that she's going to continue to push Teyana to do it."

"You dont think Teyana would do that right? Like even behind your back.."

"I honestly don't know man. But, she told me she wasn't even thinking about that. Plus, she's against those things just as much as I am." I said and Devon nodded.

"Well that's your answer. I don't think Tey would do something like that behind your back. Y'all married ." He laughed.

I sighed then my phone vibrated in my lap. I looked seeing a text from Teyana.

My Queen 👸🏽 : " What did you tell Makayla? "

"Must be the truth. She just texted me asking what I told Makayla. Knew Makayla was gonna go run her shit."

"They're like sisters, you should've known that was gonna happen. Gotta tell her now." Devon laughed. I didn't find nun funny. This dude always laughing at shit.

Instead of texting her, I decided to FaceTime. Ain't no telling what Makayla said. Could've lowkey switched my words around.
