Chap. 69 { "Mama's Boy".. }

[ TEYANA POV ]

This evening I was picking Chris Jr. up from practice because Chris had something to take care of with his brother and stuff so why not?

Aubrey is at Olivia's house and Cameron and A'Layah were at home sleeping for their evening nap. I got one of the guards, AKA Chris's uncle, Oliver to watch them until I got back. So no, they're not home alone.

I walked inside the gym seeing the team wrapping things up. While waiting for Cj, I sat in the bleachers watching him. My baby was so good at this sport. He's so handsome and I'm growing up. I'm thankful for my first born.

"Alright boys, gather up!" The coach said coming out of an office. The boys picked their balls up and all sat in the middle of the basketball court. After he said a few things, they all stood up said their little chant and then went to the locker room. "Mrs. Smith, Surprised to see you here." The coach said approaching me. I stood up waiting for Cj to come out the locker room.

"I know right. Chris couldn't make it today, so mommy had to step in." I laughed a little.

"Yeah, I see. Well you look good and your son is a really hard worker. Never give me trouble." He said.

I faked laughed a little turning my head catching that compliment he tried to slip in with the compliment about my son.

"Yeah, that's our Cj. He doesn't give us any trouble." I said. I looked at my Apple Watch hoping time would fly faster and Cj can walk out that lockeroom.

"Teyana, have anyone ever tell you that you have beautiful eyes?" The coach said. Here he go trying it again.

"Yes. In fact, my HUSBAND tells me everyday." I faked smiled and showed him my ring. "Keep word there is HUSBAND." I added and he nodded chuckling

"I see, I see." He nodded and I rolled my eyes. Just then, Cj walked out the lockeroom.

Thank God. "If you don't mind, I would -"

"Come on baby hurry up, we have things to do! Your dad is waiting outside." I interrupted him and Cj started jogging. "It was nice talking to you Deen." I told the coach waking out.

We walked to the G Wagon getting inside.

"I thought you said Dad was outside."

"I had to say that to cut your coach off. He runs his damn mouth too much." I said starting the truck. Cj laughed throwing his stuff in the back.

"He talks about you to me all the time mom. The man is obsessed!" He said.

I laughed, "Dont you think I know that baby? I told him I'm married so if ya daddy flips out one day, it's not my fault." I said and we laughed.

"Speaking of dad, where is he? Doesn't he usually pick me up from practice?"

I smacked my lips. "Well damn. I can't come pick you up? Maybe next time he's busy with something you can car pool with one of ya friends and wait until their ride gets here."

"Mom it's not like that." Cj said laughing. "I'm just used to him coming get me, that's all. Sound jealous over there."

I grinned, "Me, jealous? Boy bye. You sound like ya daddy na'." I said stopping at the red light and Cj turned on some music.

I glanced at him while he was searching for something on his phone.

"Yo Trey, wassup man?" He said to his phone while holding it up and licking his lips. I couldn't help but lean over and kiss his cheek

"Moooomm! Don't start, please!" He groaned pushing me away. I laughed knowing how that gets to him.

Sometimes Cj doesn't want me kissing on him because he's getting older now and he doesn't want his friends to think he's a "baby". But when I'm spoiling his ass like a baby and giving him whatever the hell he wants, it's not a problem.

"Your friends aren't around. Why can't I kiss you? You're my oldest baby boy!" I whined hugging him and he laughed.

"Alright, alright! That's enough!" He said

"Awee, Cj's a mama's boy?" His friend, Trey said.

"Shut up. I'm not a mama's boy." He told Trey. "Thanks a lot." He said looking at me and I smiled

"No matter what, you're still my baby boy. I'm going to kiss you whenever I want." I said pressing the pedal.

My babies will never be too old for their mama's love. If I don't do it, who will? These lil fast ass girls? I'm for sure ain't letting no lil fast ass girl take my place.

I'm gon' ALWAYS be his #1 lady in his book.

"Hey mama, can we stop for some Sonic? I'm hungry and you know I just got outta practice." Cj asked.

"If I stop, you must be paying huh?" I asked him.

"What? You gonna pay. You're the adult." He said

"Mmm, I only pay for my babies. Last time I checked, you wasn't a mama's boy." I smirked making Trey "ooh" and laugh on the phone.

Cj sighed, "Trey would you shut up?" He asked him then pressed something. "Mom, can you not? You're embarrassing me!" Cj said

"What? I'm just trying to love on you and you think you too grown for that."

"I didn't say that" he said turning the phone back from mute on Im guessing

I pulled into Sonic because I was hungry too.

"Mhm, what do you want?" I asked him looking at the sonic menu.
