Laying down on the couch with a pillow on my head, I watched a random movie on Netflix. Right after I spoke with Asher yesterday, I came home and started watching Stranger Things in the living room. I also slept on the couch and I think I had a stiff neck or something.
There was a TV in my room upstairs, but I preferred watching out here because it was closer to the kitchen and I could grab food and drinks without walking too much.
I was eating some chips that I had poured into a bowl when I woke up this morning. It was Saturday so I didn't have to do anything. As I was shoving handful after handful in my mouth, I saw a guy in the movie doing his morning workout routine.
I placed the bowl on the floor and stood up walking to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed how out of shape I was. Practice was going to start in around two weeks, so I really did have to start losing a few pounds before it.
Walking up to the window, I checked the weather. It wasn't too sunny so I decided that I'd go out for a jog. I walked upstairs to my room and looked for something that I would wear. I settled with a white tank top and a pair of black shorts.
After putting them on, I grabbed a hair tie that I found on top of my study table and tied my hair into a ponytail. I then scoured through my room to look for my earphones, which I found after a few minutes. Without checking how I looked like, I ran downstairs.
I exited the house after grabbing my keys to the car. I drove to a park a few minutes from my house which had a circular mile-long track that I liked running around. I normally went one or two miles, but I was feeling a bit motivated and energetic so I chose to go three rounds.
I connected my bluetooth earphones to my phone and put them on. I was looking through the playlists in my phone.
Finally, I found the playlist that I listened to during my jogs and when working out which I created two years ago. I seriously had to get new songs.
After getting a mile in, I really wanted to stop because my legs started to hurt. Instead of going back to my car though, I just walked to rest my legs a little. I was looking at other people playing with their dogs and I couldn't help but smile at the scene.
Someone then tapped me on my right shoulder and I cocked my head towards that person and I just halted. Asher. He stopped right next to me and just smirked at me. "Why am I not surprised?" I said throwing my hands in the air.
He just chuckled. "I knew I recognized you. You look better behind than face to face you know that?" Unlike his brother, Asher did not have a way with words. I always found myself feeling a bit insecure.
"I could say the same about you." I retorted circling him with my finger on my chin while looking at him. It looked like he'd been running for a while, so I don't know why I never noticed him. Probably because I was distracted by the pain in my legs.
"You checking me out, Clumsy?" He asked in a bit of a player tone. I rolled my eyes at him and began jogging away from him.
He went after me and was by my side again when I turned my head to side. "Are you following me, Asher?" I held my hand in front of my mouth and gasped as if shocked that he came after me.
"You wish. As you can see, I'm jogging." He was sweating a lot and his black shirt hugged his defined body tightly so I could see the outline of his chest and six-pack. Before he caught me staring, I peered my eyes away from him and looked ahead.
"Why are you here anyways?" I questioned.
"To jog. I thought we already established that." I rolled my eyes yet again at his dumb answer. He opened his mouth to speak once more. "I live near here so I jog everyday." I nodded my head.
