So, for lunch on Tuesday, I ate out with Nate and Kenz at this Mexican restaurant called La Buena. They served some of the best tortillas and tacos I've ever eaten. Nate had also invited a few of his lacrosse friends.
There was Miguel who I call the funny one. Of all the lacrosse players, other than Nate, I really liked his personality. He was really approachable. The other two were Tristan, the eater, and Liam, the good-looking one.
Tristan eats a lot. This one time, when Kenz and I were at Nate's house, Tristan and Miguel came over as well. Tristan ordered three boxes of pizza, two for him and the other for the rest of us to share. Surprisingly though, he was fit like the others.
Liam, on the other hand, was the third best-looking person in the entire lacrosse team, just behind Asher and Nate.
Anyways, everyone had ordered what they wanted. I got some enchilada because they were literally mwah. Nate and his friends were talking about the game with the Eagles in two weeks. It was still a long time from now, but they were all riled up.
"We're gonna beat the shit out of them." I heard Liam shout.
"Yeah. Don't we always." Nate added.
Kenz and I felt a bit out of place. Those four were dominating the conversation, so we decided to just talk to one another.
"I'm bored." Kenz whispered making sure that the others didn't hear.
"I know, but at least Nate's having fun." I reply and she nodded her head in agreement.
"I mean, I like lacrosse and all, but they talk about the Eagle's game so much."
The guys probably noticed that we weren't really interested so they called out our names.
"So, Kenz, Sofia, you got any girl gossip? Like I literally want to know." Tristan asked us raising his voice to sound like a girl. It was really similar to how Stella spoke.
"Yeah, tell me the deets girls. This bitch wants to know like really," Miguel continued.
Kenz and I couldn't help but chuckle a bit by how they were acting. Kenz spoke up, "You know, the usual. Stella."
"What about her? Tell me everything." Liam on the table and it was funny that he copied the act.
"I heard that Alex broke up with her like yesterday, so now, she's bitching at everyone." I saw her in Chemistry yelling at this girl named Mandy. She slammed the book out of her hand and started cussing at her. I felt really bad for her.
"Oh yeah. I saw her pour water over this guy's head." Nate pointed out.
Our food arrived after 15 minutes, so we took around 20-25 minutes to finish. Our school had 50-minute lunch periods which I was grateful for. It was longer than other schools.
I began eating an enchilada and I savored the taste as I chewed. However, I noticed someone grab one from my plate and when I twisted my head to the right, I saw Asher sitting next to me, and my eyes widened in response.
Seeing him reminded me that I had to talk to him about the tutoring and boyfriend thing sometime.
I looked at Nate with an angry look know full well that he was the one that had invited Asher to the restaurant. Nate just held his hands up in the air in defense, palms facing me. "He's my lacrosse teammate dude just in case you forgot."
I mean, yeah I knew that, but why invite him? I didn't ask though.
The topic of our conversation suddenly switched to the girls that the lacrosse people have dated.
