I was startled when I saw them walk into the cafe and I could hear myself panicking inside. Luckily, Asher was standing with his back facing their direction, which gave me some time to distract him.

"Wait!" I yelled loudly to catch his attention. It was a bit too loud because he looked at me with worry on his face. First time seeing that.

"What? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, of course. Sit down a second." I got off my seat and circled around until I was behind him. I grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back down into his seat before returning to sit in front of him.

He stared at me for a while before saying, "Did you need something?" He was definitely confused at my sudden outburst.

"Umm...yeah. Umm...how's life?" I slapped myself mentally out of embarrassment.

"You're joking, right?"

"Yeah." I laughed awkwardly. Lying I was good at. But distracting someone was really difficult for me. I felt under pressure especially because I was with him. "What I want to say was, what do I get for tutoring you?" Ooh, that was a pretty good one.

"Really? Don't you get extra credit or like volunteer hours or something?"  Yeah, we did get extra credit, but I didn't need it, so I would get hours instead.

"Yeah, but I should get something from you too. I mean, I am gonna waste time to motivate you right?" Honestly, I did want him to do something for me, but it didn't really matter if he did or not.

"I'd say no, but I feel bad about what I said earlier. What do you want?" I was incredibly shocked that he agreed to doing something for me. Looks like he had a conscience after all.

"Anything?" I ask with a mischievous smile.

"Yeah I guess."

I began to think about what he could do for me. I wanted it to be special and expensive. He was pretty rich so money wasn't a problem. I took a sip from my mocha which gave me an idea. "I know. One mocha every morning at school."

"No," he quickly replied not even giving what I had requested a thought.

"But you said. Don't you be going back on your word now Mr. Enderson." Ego and pride was really important to guys so I knew he'd say yes after I brought that up.

"Okay fine. But only a week," He firmly stated holding a finger up.

"No. Two weeks," I whined. "Come on. I have to tutor you for like ever." I started to sound like a little girl, but I really did like the idea of receiving free mochas every single day.

"No."

"Please. Please." I repeated that word probably fifty times until he finally agreed. "Thank you."

"Are we done now? Because I got other stuff to do." He stood up again, but I noticed that Alex and Crystal took a seat a few tables away from us. I'm surprised they didn't even notice we were here. Unless they wanted to show Asher that they were dating or whatever.

I was scared that Asher would see them and explode, so..."Wait!" He looked at me in the eyes and sat down once more.

"What? And this better not be a how are you question." He sounded bored and a little exhausted.

"I need your notebooks so I can make lessons for you," I lied.

He just looked at me stoically. "Now, I feel like you're just playing with me. I thought we already established that you were just gonna gonna be my encourager or whatever." Of course I knew, but I was just trying to buy some time.
