"Last frame Allana. You can do it!" I heard Josh who said that as I was holding a red bowling ball. I lifted it up near me, but below my eyes so I could focus on the pins. It was only one pin left and if I take it down, I win the game. Me and Josh are up against each other.

Left the house at 5 since he picked me up. Harry was sleeping on the couch so I had to bring my keys and locked the door on my way out. We went to his car and he drove us to like an arcade/bowling house. We got down and soon entered the place. It was nice. Not many people though so it's okay that he wanted to have our date here.

I focused my eyes on the last pin and strides 3 steps before releasing the ball. Once I let go of it, it rolled and rolled and soon it hit the pin. I rejoiced in victory as I won our game. "Yesss!" as I made a small victory dance in front of him. Heard him chuckle and realized I was dancing in front of him so I stopped.

"Guess we know who is treating me for dinner" I told him. He and I made a bet on who will win the game and the loser has to treat the winner over dinner. 

"I mean, I was the one who asked you out on a date so maybe it's right that I get to treat you this time" he smirked as I blushed at the same time. We moved over to the tables near the bowling  area. The place even had like a food court in it. The dining table was arranged with a semi-circle couch and a small round table in the center.

The waiter showed up and gave us the menus. Although, he denied the offer and soon ordered our food, but not being able to look at the menus. "We'll have one large pepperoni pizza, 10 pieces of chicken wings and two chocolate milkshakes" wow I think he's been here before already.

"I take it you've been here all the time?" I told him.

"Actually I've been here before and sometimes I invite my friends over, but this is the first time I invited a girl in here with me" he said while looking around then back at me, smiling. I then smiled when I heard him say that. I blushed feeling special at the moment.

After 15-20 minutes of waiting, our food came. The pizza was placed in the center of the table, then the wings were divided into 5 pieces for each of us and they finally gave us the milkshakes. We said 'Thank you' and started digging in. I got one slice of pizza and put it on my plate before eating it right away. 

"So, how'd you find this place? I mean, I think not many people come here all the time" I started the conversation since I also want to get to know him too.

"It gave me like a retro vibes and it's fun to be in a place where there are games and at the same time serve food" he explained as we both took bites of our pizza and taking sips from our drinks.

"It does, actually" I agreed with him. I then got one piece of chicken and started eating it. The food was surprisingly delicious. 

"So tell me your story. Like I said, I wanna get to know you Allana" he smirked while eating and he looked so handsome even if food is in his mouth. I'm so weird.

"Well, I was raised by my mom and my dad left, but I didn't care about that anymore because I felt like they wouldn't last that long. But it's okay. I'm actually fine living with my mom. although, part time jobs only makes our lives worse" having a single parent wasn't what I expected for our family, but I knew that my mom's relationship with my dad was on the rocks so I tried to withstand the pain I felt. When my mom had a job, it's sort of lessened the time I had with her. I don't get to see her that much.

"I'm so sorry to hear that" he told me as he stopped eating for a bit.

"It's cool. I mean, I'm just glad that I have other people to talk and be with" I said with a smile on my face. Not being able to show him how sad my life was. Sometimes, I keep my feelings to myself or opinions, but I'd rather not show it to them through my facial expressions. It's like I have to put on a mask everyday.
