Lionblaze into the territory of FallenClan, a rogue limping after him. "Mistystar, this she cat claims to be the mate of Onestar." MIstystar turned around. "Onestar? He's a Clan leader." "I followed the Clans to the lake, after my kits were born. Only one kit survived- his name was Darktail, but he left me soon after. I visited Onestar several times after- and the last time I saw him he warned me of the Dark Forest or something like that. Where is he?" Mistystar lowered her head. Crowfeather and Heathertail looked away, afraid of the truth. "Smoke. I know you. ONestar has told me about you." Crowfeather finally spoke up. "His final words to me were 'Take care of Smoke- she will come to you someday'. Onestar died at the claws of my son- Breezepelt. I'm so sorry..." "No. Onestar can't be dead. He's the greatest warrior of all time.."

"The greatest warrior? No. There are other cats that are better than he is by far. Lionblaze, for example has the power to never fall in battle."

Smoke laughed bitterly. "I know. He's the greatest warrior because he had a merciful personality. All you other warriors are vicious and merciless."

Mistystar rolled her eyes. "Typical Onestar. Bragged about how good he was to you, huh?" She grumbled.  She then faced Smoke. "Onestar was wrong about that...I'm obviously the best..."

Jayfeather settles into his den, satisfied. It took him a moon to convince Stoneteller to create their own territory, but he had persuaded her.
"Jay's Wing!" Fire Star jumped into his den.  "I learned a new battle move from Gray Wing!

Jayfeather shook his head. His kit reminded him of FIrestar, back at the Clans. Grief surged through his heart as he remembered all of the other cats he was familiar with back at home- Leafpool, Brairlight, Lionblaze.....

A hiss shook him back into reality. "You aren't welcome here." Jayfeather looked out and saw Wind and Gorse carrying a huge rabbit.

Wind looked down at her paws, embarrassed. "I'm sorry for attacking you," She started. "Gorse suggested offering this as an apology, so we hunted the entire day to find this." Stoneteller purred. "Thank you. Welcome to the Tribeof Endless Hunting!" Rock's dry laughter sounded behind him. "Another Clan is gone already, Jayfeather. How selfish are you?" Jayfeather turned around and pinned Rock to the ground. "Leave me alone." He snarled. "This is none of your business." Rock's harsh laughter brought frustration and fury. "None of my business? Oh, Jayfeather. So young and dumb. This is all of my business!"
