As Years Pass (An Edd x Marie story)

Finally

Edd paced back and forth outide of the Gryco Labs gate. The anticipation for the Evening was swelling within him. "Oh dear, it seems like it's taking forever. Where is Eddy? He said he would text me and let me know if Marie stayed or not, but my phone has not rang once all day." Eddy pulled up next to Edd who quickly entered the car, "Eddy you're late, also you never texted me, what did Lee say? Is Marie still here?"

"Woah! Easy Double D, number one I'm not late I'm right on time." He said pointing at his dash clock. "Number two I kind of forgot my phone so I wasn't able to ask Lee."

"Oh bother, it doesn't matter let's hurry home."

"Haha, you got it Romeo."

Eddy sped off, usually double D would tell him to slow down, but today he could make an exception as there was somewhere he wanted to be and the sooner the better.

"Stop Eddy, drop me here it's a shorter walk." Eddy slammed on the brakes and let Edd out by the bus stop."Thank you for the ride Eddy."

Edd slammed the door and began to jog away when Eddy stopped him, "Double D wait!"

Edd came back to the car, "Yes Eddy?"

Eddy reached into his back seat and handed Edd a small bouquet of 6 roses, "Don't say I never did nothing for ya. Go get her sock head."

"Thank you Eddy, you're the best!"

Edd disappeared into the woods and Eddy pulled up another half dozen roses. "Lee would have my skin if I didn't get her some too. Haha"

Edd quickly approached the trailer with the flowers in his hand. He stopped outside and before walking up the steps on to the deck he took a moment to catch his breath and regain his composure. He walked up onto the porch and tapped lightly on the door. He heard the lock on the inside click and the door opened slowly. Once it was open he could see his precious Marie, and his heart began to pound. She was wearing a tight and short black strapless dress and a pair of black heels and her face was done with light but alluring makeup. Marie smiled cutely at him, "Hey oven mitt, come on in." Edd stared blankly, he couldn't move or react, all he could do was stare. "What's the matter Double D, you never seen a girl before?"

Edd's reaction fell from his lips without even thinking, "I have, but I've never seen one who looked this sexy."

Marie blushed and her heart raced, she didn't know Edd could be so forward. She grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the house. She wrapped her arms around him and kicked the door shut. Edd held her close, drinking in her sweet perfume. As he squeezed her even tighter he heard the cellophane on the roses he brought crinkle, "Oh," he said backing away from Marie, "these are for you."

Marie took the flowers from Edd, "Thank you so much, I'm going to put these in water." She walked into the kitchen area and reached up into the cabinet to get a vase. As she did this her dress came up a bit, Edd blushed at the sight and averted his eyes. "So Marie, d-did you read the letter?"

Marie placed the flowers in the vase and sat them down. She looked at Edd with a tear in her eye, "It was everything I ever wanted to hear. My sisters said you stayed with Ed and May last night."

"That's correct. When I left here last night I went home and told Sarah it was over."

"Is that really ok though Double D?"

Edd walked over to Marie and put his hands on her hips, he looked down deep into her eyes. "Nothing I have ever done felt so right Marie."

Marie put her arms around Edd, she moved her body close to him and placed her lips on his. As they kissed, both of thier minds began to swim, Marie continued kissing Edd her tongue exploring every part of his, all the while she was moving him closer to the sofa. She pushed him down on it and straddled his lap. Edd moved his hands down Marie's body running his palms down the sides of her hips, memorizing her every curve, rolling his hands around he squeezed her butt, causing marie to let out a small sigh. Marie broke their kiss and whispered in Edd's ear, "Double D, I'm not wearing any panties."

Edd moved his hands up Marie's back. He pinched the zipper of her dress and began to pull it down, when he stopped himself. "Marie, please don't be angry, but could we perhaps stop for now?" Marie looked at Edd confused wondering if she had done something wrong." I promise Marie it is not that I don't want to do this or that I find you undesirable in any way. I simply want to do things right. You deserve that much, I want to take you out on dates and I want to get to know the new you so you can know the new me. So if it's alright with you Marie, can we take it a bit slower?"

Double D's face was glowing red. Marie was actually touched, most of the guys who had pursued her were only interested in her body. She was overwhelmed with happiness. "Yes Edd, that sounds perfect." She smiled at Edd and kissed him again. Playing with his ear. "Well Double. I'm going to get up now and make you some dinner."

"That sounds Lovely Marie."

Marie giggled and gave Double D a wicked smile. "I don't mind if you peek, but my dress is leather and it's rode all the way up. Hahaha"

Edd looked down at his lap and saw Marie's shaved body, and quickly pulled his hat down over his eyes, "Good Heavens! Marie I'm so sorry!"

"Tee hee, I told you you could peek. It's ok." She kissed his forehead and went to stand up when she felt something poke her. She didn't want to embarrass him further so she said nothing but she couldn't help but to glance. She didn't speak aloud but mouthed the words "Oh my god" as her eyes widened at the size of Edd. She shook her head and pulled the skirt of her dress back down to it's normal position. "Ok Edd, I'm decent. Haha"

"Th-Thankyou for understanding Marie."

"Don't worry about it oven mitt, I think it's sweet."

Edd smiled at his wonderful blue haired girl, "So what are we having for dinner?"

"I'm gonna make you my specialty. Home made chicken soup."

Marie tied an apron around herself and got to work. Edd watched her preparing the meal in amazement. Although it was nothing spectacular, to him it was like watching art in motion. Every thing she did mesmerized him.
