As Years Pass (An Edd x Marie story)

A Magical Christmas Party

Several weeks have passed, since then a lot has changed. Sarah and Jimmy moved out of Edd's house, and Edd had moved back in. Marie and Edd still saw eachother every day and always spent the weekends together. It was Friday afternoon and Edd was looking forward to the Evening's festivities. Monday was Christmas and tonight was going to be Edd's yearly Christmas party. He was in the kitchen putting the finishing touches on a cake when Marie walked in.

"Woo! It's freezing out there."

"Good evening Marie, are you ready for the party?"

"Sure am." She set a large bag down near the Christmas tree. I got everybody's presents wrapped just in time." She walked in the kitchen and wrapped her arms around Edd's waiste. Edd leaned his head over his shoulder and Marie kissed him on the lips, "Wow oven mitt that looks delicious!" She stuck her finger out and scraped a small bit of icing from the cake and put it in her mouth.

"Marie, that's for the guests! Haha"

"It's ok, you eat that piece, it will be the sweetest." Marie winked at Edd and he blushed. "I'm going to go upstairs and change for the party. Do you need any help?"

"No dear I'll manage just fine."

Marie went up the stairs and Double D placed a small candy discreetly on the side of the cake where Marie had stolen the icing, "I will eat this piece actually." He finished with his cake and carried it to the living room to be placed on the table with other various snacks and beverages. He took a list from his pocket and began double checking to insure he hadn't missed anything. As he was finishing up with all of his preparations, Marie was coming down the stairs. She was wearing a short red with white lace trimmed hoop dress. With thigh high red and white striped socks and red flats. Edd's jaw fell to the floor, "Wow Marie, you look beautiful. My only concern is wont that skirt come up when you hand out your presents?"

Marie bit her bottom lip and slowly moved her hands down her sides to the hem of her dress and raised it slowly. Double D was red faced and sweating and just as she yanked it all the way up she said, "Don't worry these are actually leggings." Edd looked at her holding her skirt up and saw there was no need to worry. The doorbell rang, marie dropped her skirt, and Edd answered the door.

"Merry Christmas Sock Head!"

"Eddy, Lee please come in! You're the first to arrive."

"It alright if I just throw these under the tree?"

"Sure thing."

Lee walked up to Marie with Eddie, "Merry Christmas sis, we brought some finger sandwiches over."

"Here, I'll take those for you and put em on the table."

As Marie walked away with the plate Lee whistled, "Wheew looking hot Marie," she elbowed Double D, "I bet you keep this one bothered all day long."

Edd turned bright red, "Lee! Please there are children."

Eddie tugged on Double D's shirt, "Aunt marie has a great can."

"Eddie, where did you learn that?"

Eddy gave his son a high five, "That's my boy!!"

"Eddy please, they are family this is highly inaprop..." *knock *knock *knock "Oh someone's at the door."

"Happy holidays double dweeb!"

"Kevin welcome come on in."

"I figured things would be a little square around here so I brought a few things from the bar. Haa!"
Kevin reached into the brown bag he was carrying and produced three large bottles of alcohol, "I got vodka, bourbon, and rum." Naz came in just a little behind Kevin carying a box with several bottles of juices and other beverages in her arms. "And I got the mixers."
