Tabby is EXO's manager and Chanyeol is her best friend. She fastly becomes attracted to Kai and things start to move fast for them. Tabby finds out a secret that Kai is hiding and Chanyeol is there to help her through it all.

The next morning I sit across from Chanyeol at our kitchen island. We are eating our breakfast. I can't seem to be able to get yesterday out of my mind. I suddenly put my chopsticks down and look at Chanyeol.
"Don't you think it's weird?" I ask him and then point to myself. "Why would he choose someone like me?" Chanyeol sighs and rolls his eyes.
"Tabby.." He mutters. I keep going.
"What is honestly going on?" I ask. Chanyeol sighs again and sets his chopsticks down. He looks me in the eyes.
"Tabby, shut up and just go out with him." He tells me. I just look at him.
"You think I should?"
"Yes, just go out with him and see how it goes." He says. "You know I will be here if it doesn't go well." I smile softly.
"I will give it a try." I say. Chanyeol starts to smile.
"Good. Now finish your food." He says and points at my plate. I nod and pick up my chopsticks again. We both finish our breakfast and then set our plates in the sink. We grab our things and head out of our apartment. Time for work and getting ready for the show tonight.
As soon as we walk outside I notice that Kai is waiting. I glance at Chanyeol and he smiles.
"I will see you at SM." He says and keeps walking. I stop in front of Kai, who smiles. We start walking down the sidewalk.
"I thought I would walk you to work today." He tells me. I smile softly.
"Thank you." I reply.
"I wanted too." He pauses. "Have you thought about it?" I look up at him.
"I have and I will give you my answer after your show tonight." I tell him. Kai frowns slightly.
"You're going to make me wait that long?" He asks. I smile and nod.
"It will be a good end to the night." I say with a smirk. We walk into SM and head into the practice room. All the guys are here and waiting. I take my spot at the front of them and Kai takes his spot.
"Let's go through the songs you will be performing tonight." I tell them. I start the music and practice instantly starts. I watch them all as they dance. I really don't need to worry about them. They always do a great job.
They practice for a few hours before I let them go to head to the venue. Chanyeol walks with me to my office, so I can check a few things before leaving. I walk into my office and go over to my computer. Chanyeol watches me as I sit down.
"So did you tell him?" He asks me. I look up at him and shake my head.
"I'm going to tell him later." I tell him and turn to look at my email. All is good.
"Why don't you just tell him?" Chanyeol asks. I shrug.
"I want him to be able to focus during the show." I reply. Chanyeol smirks.
"Uh huh.. Right." He says. I stand up.
"Okay maybe I'm still unsure, but I'm going to tell him." I explain. Chanyeol smiles and puts his arm around my shoulders as we walk out of my office.
"Everything will be fine." He says. I smile.
We all get to the venue and the guys get ready in their dressing room. I make sure everyone is looking good before going down to the stage. I walk on stage to see how it all looks. Footsteps come towards me and I turn my head. Kai comes to stand beside me. He looks very good in his stage clothes. He looks over at me and smiles.
"You look good out here." He says.
"I always look the same." I reply and laugh slightly.
"It might be the lights, but you're glowing." Kai says. I look away from him and bite my lip as I start to smile. Why is he so sweet?
The rest of the guys come out to join us. Chanyeol comes up behind me and tries to jump onto my back. He is too tall for that to ever work. We end up laughing before I become serious and let the guys know that they can practice whenever they wanted. They decide to start and I leave them on stage to go stand on the side. They practice some and walk around the stage.
An hour later, the sounds of screams can be heard throughout the venue as the guys wait to go on. The sound is so amazing to hear and never fails to make me smile. All that screaming is for these nine guys standing with me.
They go on stage and give the fans their all. They always make sure their fans are having a good time. The fans never leave a venue disappointed. The guys always have a great time too.
After the show they come rushing off the stage towards me. I notice Kai is coming straight towards me. He rushes to me and wraps his arms around my waist. He tilts me backwards and looks down at me. He's all sweaty and looking rather good. Kai smiles. I grab onto the side of his shirt, even though I know he won't drop me.
"What's your answer?" He asks me. I start to smile softly.
"It's a yes." I tell him. Kai puts me back on my feet and grins.
"You're actually saying yes?" He asks. I nod and smile.
"Yes. I guess we're going on a date." I reply. Kai comes a little bit closer to me. My heart flutters slightly as I look up at him.
"I could kiss you right now." Kai says softly. I think my heart stops at the thought of it and I step back. I point behind me.
"I'm going to go now. I will see you tomorrow for our date." I tell him and turn around before he can reply. Chanyeol is walking ahead of me and I hurry to catch up with him. We look at each other as we walk and then look away. I loop my arm through his and move closer to him. I think I'm falling for Kai and that scares me to death.
