Lacey's POV

I never went back on tour with Shawn...

Why? Because a week later Andrew fired me. He left a message saying I was fired and nothing else. So I stayed with Adeline. This entire time I tried time and time again to get ahold of Shawn but he wouldn't text or call me.

That was when photos of him and Camila being "together" came out. My heart shattered. It still hurts. Apparently it was all for PR but he didn't even tell me... and they are now dating. I hate Camila with a passion. I've blocked everyone that is on that tour... EVERYONE. I don't need that kind of bullsh-

"Lacey? What are you staring at?" Cole asks me. I've been couch surfing at his house. "I'm just thinking about what I'm going to do now that I don't have a job... or a house... or really anything." I retort quickly, showing my anger about this. "Will your mom take you? You've stayed over at her house a couple times now. Or one of your sibling?" I shake my head at this. Then I get an idea.

"Cole. I think I want to move. Get an apartment. I can ask my dad for the money... I mean hopefully he'd do it. But I don't want to live alone." I look at him and he raises an eyebrow. "Take Macy and Caleb with you." He jumps and grabs his car keys. "What are you doing, Cole?" "Driving you to your dads house so we can get you a home." He exclaims, halfway out the door.

Rolling my eyes I get up and follow him.

"You want me to buy you an apartment so you can live with Macy and Caleb?" Dad says repeating what I just asked him. "Yes. I can't keep couch surfing at my friends, dad. I already applied to some jobs in Ontario." I assured so he wouldn't think I'm unprepared. He looks at Jill and back at me. "Fine. I'll pay rent and everything. Now let's go look at some apartments." He gets up and Cole and I follow behind as leads us to the computer.

He goes into an apartment website and bookmarks a couple. "Come look at these and then tell me which one you want." My dad pulls me over and I yank Cole over to. "I really like this 3 bedroom actually. I meant I don't know if I really want Caleb and Macy to live with me." I look at my dad and he smiles. "Your aunt doesn't want to give them up?" He asks. I nod and sigh. I really wanted them to live with me.

"You have friends and siblings who can stay the night. It is a three bedroom." My dad states.

"Then let's get it!" Jill exclaims in frustration before storming off.

"Lets get it!" I mock her and my dad buys it.

The Next Day
6:00 am
Ontario Apartment Complex
"Look at this place!" I exclaim to Adeline as we walk around the empty apartment with its perfect white walls and hardwood floor. "It's so big! Even the kitchen and bathroom are big." She gawks at the granite counters. "Can I come live with you?" I laugh at her joke and go into the bathroom.

The perfect white tile and white counters and white walls just made the room feel so open. "Can you see when my dad's getting here with the new furniture?" I yell to Adeline. "Where's the washer and dryer?" "In the bathroom." I shrug and start to picture where everything will go.

That's when I hear a knock on the door. "No one's knows the address yet." I look at Adeline and we walk over to the door together. "Who is it?" I yell as Adeline hides behind me. "Please open the door!" The eerily familiar voice yells back.

I open the door to Brian... from tour. "Why the hell are you doing here!" I scream at him as he walks in. "Lacey, who is this guy?" Adeline looks him up and down. "This is Brian... Shawn's best friend." I roll my eyes and walk away.
"How did you even find the apartment?" "Your dad is one of your emergency contacts." He walls over and I give Adeline a look to stay where she is.
