Lacey's POV
4:13am
Toronto Pearson International Airport

Shawn ended up missing his flight on the twenty second because he is an actual dumbass.

His flight is supposed to land at four-thirty this morning. "Adeline I'm so bored!" I exclaim since I have her on FaceTime. "I'm still mad at you for waking me up. You woke me up at three  this morning so you wouldn't have to drive to the airport alone." She gives me a dirty look but smirks. "Oh like you wouldn't make me do the same thing." I roll my eyes and we both laugh.

The airport is slightly empty except for a few people trying to get from one terminal to the next. "How are you and Mason?" I wiggle my eyebrows. She doesn't know that Mason tells me too much about their relationship. "What do you mean?" Her face turns red and my eyes go wide. "Holy shit! He wasn't lying! You seriously have him a bj!" I whisper the last part and Adeline immediately shushes me. "You're in a public space!" She scolds me and I cackle laugh.

"I hate you so much! We're both sleep deprived and delusional." Adeline starts to laugh so hard she wheezes. "St-st I ca-can't stop laugh-laughing!" I say between wheezes. People stare at me as I sit in fits of laughter. I'm wearing earbuds so it really looks like I'm crazy. That's when an announcement comes over the intercom. "Flight 224 has landed." And I immediately stand up. "We'll hang up on me so you can see Shawn in all his glory." Adeline exclaims and I do.

People calmly walk off the plane and a little too slow for my liking. Finally I see curly hair above everyone else.

Shawn's POV
4:36am

My heart is racing. I have no patience for how slow people are getting off this plane. I need to see Lacy. NOW! Finally I'm out of the weird walk away and I spot Lacey. She is already crying and jumping up and down. She throws her phone down and runs and jumps into my arms as I walk over to her. I hold her as close as I can to my body. My heart is overflowed with happiness. "I love you so much." I tell her as I kiss her hard and long. "I've missed you so much." I kiss her whole face and the her lips again, refusing to let her go.

Finally I set her down. "She hugs me and cries. "I love you so much. I feel so excited and happy and overwhelmed." She chuckles and pulls away. I look to her bump and my eyes go wide. "You're beautiful I put my hand on the baby bump and she looks down. "We missed you." She bites her lip and looks at me. I feel like puddy in her hands. "Let's go get my bags so I can enjoy more of you at home." I mumble into her ear and she nods.

As we walk to get my luggage I joke around and refuse to let her hold my hand. "Shawwnnn please." She whimpers as I put my hands in my pocket and she grabs onto my arm. I laugh and look at her. "You're just so cute I guess I must let you." I sigh out as she takes hold of my hand. When we get to the luggage dispenser I see my suitcases immediately.

We each grab a suitcase and a guitar. The rest of my guitars are being shipped back. "Ready to go home?" I smile wide as we leave the airport and head to my Jeep. "You seriously love this car don't you." I laugh as she runs over to the driver side and waits for me. "It's an amazing car." She gives me a 'duh' look. I load up all of my luggage and then get in.

I recline the seat and close my eyes. A wave of exhaustion hits me like a wall. "Babe, one of these days I'm going to have to take you to Mexico. It's absolutely beautiful their." I look at her as she drives and she has a small smile. "We could go their for our honeymoon." I scrunch my nose up. "No. I already know where I'm taking you." She looks at me for a split second in surprise. "Can I know?" She whines and I laugh. "Sorry, honey, it's a surprise." I close my eyes and sigh.
