Chapter 36

Lacey's POV

"YOU'VE BEEN SKIPPING YOU'RE CLASSES!" My dad yells as he walks into the kitchen where I'm reading a book. "I told you I'm not going to college. I don't want to go to college." I simply say before going back to my book. "Lacey! we're paying for this!" "Well then stop. I don't want to go to college!" I can feel irritation creeping up on me.

"Fine. You don't have to go to college, but you won't get anywhere in life without a diploma." I hold back a laugh and what I want to say back to my dad. "Okay." I say as he storms out of the kitchen. Finally! I really hated it. I just can't do college. It's not me.

Also, Shawn was supposed to come back Saturday but he had that private show in New York to do yesterday. He's supposed to get back tonight. He begged me to come to the show but I said no. I'm not ready to face Andrew. To him I'm the fake girlfriend and that is it. And if we want this to work we have to continue to play our parts around Andrew at least until your ends. It sucks but it'll be worth it.

Once I finish the chapter I'm on I set down the book and grab the keys to Shawn's Jeep. My dad is mad and I don't want to be around him to just piss him off more. Since last week I've grown extremely close to Kayla, Maria and Savannah. I walk into the living room where they sit doing homework. "Guys want to come with me to Shawn's again?" "Yes!" Savannah screams as she jumps up, Kayla and Mari following behind her. We pile into his Jeep and head off.

The entire car ride is filled with singing a long to the radio. Once we make it to his apartment I park and we head inside. "You guys can go watch the tv, I'll be right back." I walk into the bedroom and dial Shawn's number. He has a layover in Arizona.

"Hey baby." He says when he picks up my call. "Hello, what time will you be home?" I ask as I sit on the bed. "Four or five hours." He sighs out. I look at the time. It's four in the afternoon right now. "If you aren't home by ten I'm calling you again." I say. I can hear him chuckle and I smile. "I love you." "Love you to, my flight is boarding. See you soon." Then he hangs up. I lay back on the bed and think about Shawn's return. I've missed him so much.

After a few minutes I get back up and go into the living room. The girls are all watching Friends. I sit and watch with them for about three hours.

Mason came and picked up the girls about an hour ago. Now I'm just waiting for Shawn to get home. It's about nine fifty. As I wait I text Cole and watch stupid meme videos.

Before I know it shawn jumps on top of me and showers me with kisses. "God I've missed you." He mumbles in my hear before kissing me soft and slow. "I can't believe I didn't hear you come in!" "You were too interested in watching memes on Instagram." He chuckles out. We sit up and I lay in his embrace for a good five minutes. "I love you so much." He whispers out, kissing my forehead. I snuggle closer to him.

Then he pulls me away. "I have a serious question to ask. I might have asked this already I don't remember (more of me, the writer, couldn't remember if I wrote it and couldn't find it if it did) but it's very serious." I sit up straight and nod. Shawn takes a deep breath. "Lacey, will you move in with me?" I feel my heart rate go up to a million miles an hour. He sits there staring at me as I just stare back at him with a look of shock on my face.

I mean... I do need to move out of my dads at some point. I can't live with him forever. But then there is Andrew! You know what! "Yes." I tentatively say, hoping I made the right move. Shawn smiles and jumps on top of me. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He exclaims kissing me. "You're welcome!" I yell back making us both laugh.

"When do you want to move in?" Shawn asks, hovering above me. "Hopefully next week but first let's figure out how to tell my dad and Jill." He nods and gets off of me. He holds out his hand to help me up, I take the offer. "I'm so tired from traveling, can we go to bed." Shawn asks, rubbing his eyes. I nod and we walk to the bedroom.

After he finished doing all his things in the bathroom he runs over and jumps on the bed next to me. "You're so energetic today Mendes." I giggle out making him smirk. "I'm just excited." He pecks my cheek before spooning me. "Goodnight lovely." He whispers in my ear before turning out the light. "Night baby." I say back. We drift off to sleep.

Hi! Is it just me or was this chapter kinda short compared to everything else?

My dudes!!! There are two weeks left of school for me!!! So if I'm not active it's because I'm studying :) I'm so excited to become a Junior!!!!!!! Aaaahhhhhhh.
