Lacey's POV
1:48pm

"I got the job!" I text Adeline as I walk out of Starbucks. I needed to get a job and Starbucks is the only one who called back. 'Hell Yeah!' Is all she replies back with. I start working the twenty-fifty of this month.

Shawn and his family will be home tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! I also moved into his apartment like he texted me to. Adeline and Mason helped me move in to his apartment.

We managed to finish me moving in about four hours. It took a long time to put everything else in storage though. I want to talk to Shawn about finding a house soon especially with the baby on the way. Like yeah his apartment is HUGE but I just feel a house would be better.

Once I'm finally in our apartment I go to the bed and hop in. The smell of Shawn is strong and I get goosebumps... I miss him more than anything. I wish he was home now.

All of a sudden I hear the door open and close. Who is in the apartment. I pull on one of Shawn's hoodies as quick as I can and go to the living room where a man that is at least twenty is standing on his phone. "Hey! You must be Lacey. I'm Jackson. Shawn has me taking care of his plants." He holds out his hand and I shake it. "I can do that now. How much should I pay you?" I go to pull out my phone and he stops me. "It's fine. This was just a friendly gesture." Jackson says and walks out.

"Okay then." I sigh and go lay on the couch. I want Shawn home! I let out a scream of excitement knowing I can be with him. That's when I hear a knock on the door. I go and open the door and it's Adeline. "I came over as fast as I could." She smiles and hugs me. "Now where is all this food you're telling me Shawn has!" Adeline exclaims as we walk into the kitchen. "In the fridge." I laugh out.

Once we have gotten all the goods out of the fridge and started eating I pull out my phone. "What should we do?" I look at Adeline who is stuffing her face with Shawn's favorite ice cream. "Shawn is going to die when he sees his ice cream is gone." Adeline just looks at me and shrugs. "Give me a bite." I take her spoon and eat some.

Adeline laughs and takes her spoon back. "I hope you don't puke from all this." She says before opening up the dried fruit. "I hope so too!" I whine as I grab a dried mango. "What time does Shawn home? His Jeep is there right?" I shake my head. "He took the Ford Mustang if I'm correct. I could be wrong. I honestly don't remember it's been so long." I tell her as I open up a La Croix.

She taps me on the shoulder. "Who's car is outside?" She looks at me. "It's my new car. I sold the old one that my dad bought me and got a Ford Focus 2015 hatchback." I tell her and she widens her eyes. "Your dads not going to be happy." She looks back at her cake. "Oh well." I shrug and eat some whipped cream.

That's when my stomach starts to turn. "Fuck." I whisper as I run to the bathroom. The minute I Neil over the toilet I puke up everything Adeline and I ate. "You okay?" She asks from the doorway. I nod and stand up. Before I move I make sure I'm not going to puke again. I grab my toothbrush and brush my teeth. Once I finish I follow Adeline back into the kitchen. I gag looking at the food. "Can you put it away. I would but just looking at it is making me sick." I apologetically tell her and walk to the living room.

After a couple minutes Adeline comes in. "You're at nine weeks now aren't you?" She asks me. I nod and smile. "Three months pregnant!" I'm so happy. "It's crazy. I feel like yesterday we found out you were pregnant." Adeline says smiling at me. "You'll be the coolest aunt ever." I take Adeline's hand in mine and she laughs. "You know it!" She exclaims.
