Summer's mistakes

30|Packing

We called a limo to drive us home, and when we got home Jas carried Talika up to her bedroom, while I went to mine and did my night routine.

Jasmine then came into my room. "Hey, I packed for Talika we are going to be at that hotel for at least a week and a half. I hope we can find someone to take care of her for atleast a week." She said sitting on my bed as I put on my facial mask.

I can't believe they moved everything forward by three days. I feel bad for Talika. I sighed, "I was going to use my three days off to find someone to take care of her. I guess I could try Claire though she's going on a trip with her fiancé."

"It's fine she can have a lot of fun to we won't be shooting all the time and I'm sure she'll make friends to play with." Jasmine replied reassuringly.

"I better pack myself." I said looking at the empty suitcase on the floor.

"Ditto," She said, "Night V," She said.

"Night Jasmine," I replied. I started packing while waiting for my mask to be ready. It didn't take to long since I am someone who just wears whatever. I did pack some formal dresses though, just in case.

I removed my mask and washed my face with cold water. I remembered that Talika had her phone and that it would need charging as well as her tablet.

I tiptoed to Talika's room and slowly opened the door. She was fast asleep, her head resting on her pillow and she was smiling as usual. I wonder what she dreams about? I picked up her mini handbag on the floor and took her phone.

I walked over to her and placed a kiss on her forehead. I then went into Jasmine's room and she was already asleep in her bed and her suitcase packed and at Jasmine the door ready. I tiptoes over to where she keeps her bags and I took the one she had today and removed Tali's tablet from it.

I went back to my room and placed everything on the charger including my phone, but first making sure that I had set my alarm for 7. We had to be their at 9 am and punctuality is very important to me.

Talika p.o.v

It's morning, I'm awake. Where's my phone, I want to watch Dora. I looked in my mini hand bag which aunty Tasha had gave me and it wasn't there so I went to mama's room and I saw it on the charger. Mama's alarm went off but she just rolled over and carried on sleeping.

Mama is funny, she's always lazy in the mornings. I switched off the alarm, it was making to much noise. "Mama." I said but she didn't listen so I got on the bed and took her blankets away and said "Mama," Really loud.

Back to Valentina's p.o.v

"Hmmm, sweety," I whispered feeling extremely exhausted.

"Your alarm went off mama," She said to me. "Morning ," She said giving me kiss.

"Morning sweety," I said giving her a kiss back.

We went downstairs to see Jas had already made breakfast. Talika ran over to her and gave her a morning kiss. "Morning Jas," I said tiredly.

"Morning boo, I'm gonna go shower." She said.

"What about breakfast?" I asked her.

"I already ate." She said, "I'm gonna go shower and sort out my hair." She said pointing at her hair.

"Girl you gucci, look at mine." I was having extreme bed head that I was so sure that I would loose a comb or two in there.

The rest of the morning was a rush, making sure that Talika was ready and packed lots of snacks in her back pack, and making sure I didn't forget anything. Talika had her phone and tablet safely in her back pack. We were eventually ready and on time. Jas was killing it as per usual.



And Talika looked adorable with her bun and her mascara that she spent 5 minutes asking for.



I checked myself out in the downstairs mirror before dragging both mine and Talika's suitcase to the limo. As well as my backpack with my necessities like snacks my phone charger ect.



We already started driving by 8:00, I felt relieved knowing we were early. We were soon at the hotel we were greeted by the flashing camera's of fans.

I took a few pictures with fans so did Jas, but then we were directed by security inside the hotel to the V.I.P lounge. I greeted everyone before sitting down in the sofa with Talika on my lap.

"Can't wait to see the male actors and singers we'll be working with." Cyrstal said.

I am really looking forward to this movie, it's about a woman who spends her nights on the streets trying to make a change and then she comes across a once in a lifetime opportunity making her voice heard. I get to play her journey of how she went from miss dreamer to miss big shot.

"Yeah, I can't wait," I said excitedly.

"How are you so calm?" Candy asked.

"Huh what do you mean?" I asked her confused.

"There's rumors all over the internet that you and Andrew Spensers used to date." She replied.

"You wanna see," Ellie said holding her phone.

"No I'm good." I smiled, I have social media but use it to a bare minimum for a reason. The hate that people give you can be scary. I like to block negativity out so if I look I will be giving into those negative vibes.

"Rumor has it you guys dated for .... years. Is this true?" Kim asked. I nodded not bothering to say anything.

"So it's true." Cemellie asked shocked.

"Yeah," I said confused, just then I looked towards the doors where all the male actors came in.

"Omg Liam," I said hugging him turns out it really is a small world, we kept in touch all these years but who new. He had told me he debuted as an actor and had been given minor roles, but it was something this was last year. Look at him now who knew we would have a chance to work together.

"So who's the lead," I asked him. 

"He's not here," Liam replied. "It's Andy wait no Alex, I can't remember I was very sleepy yesterday."

"Okay what about supporting role?" Jasmine asked.

"Not her yet either." He replied. "I can't remember him either sorry girls," He said apologetically. 

Just then the door opened and me and Jasmine exchanged glances as the lead greeted me. "Hello Valentina."

Fuck, of all people Andrew Spensers has walked back into my life and this time I don't think I'll be able to shut him out!
