I woke up after having an amazing night of sleep. You would think after finding out I am going to be a mother a life-changing advent, that sleep would seem impossible. Well, I guess I have found ease in this whole situation which is really weird.

"Hey, Valentina please open the door." I got up out of my bed and walked towards the door.

I saw Andrew holding my favourite latte. "Umm, hi..." I whispered not really knowing what to say in this situation. He handed me the latte "Thanks..."

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

I nodded "Fine."

"O-oh, alright." I could tell he was feeling as awkward as I was, yet he still took the time to buy my favourite latte. "Hey..." he started clearly nervous as he scratched the back of his head. "Um, I and Aleah are going to the beach." I love the beach it is a place where I have always felt at ease. "You want to come?"

I debated it for a while in my head "Just us three?" I asked after a bit of time.

"Well, no Aleah is bringing Chelsy and Ray along."

"What about you?" I asked.

"Luca and Emily." He smiled.

Emily thee famous Emily the girl who left his apartment, the girl who called him, the girl who is constantly flirting with him on the phone and in school. I haven't met the girl but it doesn't take a genius to know us being together won't end well.

The fact that he had bought my latte and invited me to the beach made me feel really special. I was soon slapped in the face by reality. I had thought for a brief moment he cared about me even a little bit. He regretted the way things had ended between us. I am I so damn stupid? I felt my eyes get cold and my voice emotionless "Sorry, I have plans with Jas."

"You could invite her, I mean Aleah will be to busy to pick on her anyways, come please." He pleaded.

I handed him back the latte before I listened to my head which was repeating throw it on him in a chant. "Just fuck off, have fun by yourselves for goodness sake." With that, I slammed my door and locked it. I walked over to my bed feeling broken. I listened as his footsteps faded further and further away from me.

Jas, can I come over.

Jasmine

Ye sure, I was about to call to see if you wanted to hang out anyways.

Valentina

Just promise we won't be going to the beach today.

Jasmine

I'll tell you in person, I'm gonna go take a shower and change.

Jasmine

Alright, so you'll be here in the next 45 ish minutes.
