The sun had set and the sky had already darkened. I sighed walking along the brightly lit street. "I'm glad there's still so many people around." I'd say people but it was like more creatures came out of hiding.

I sighed running a hand through my hair, it being knotty and sticky from the old lady-monsters saliva. "Gross." I muttered under my breath before peering in the corner of my eye.

I noticed a hooded figure facing my direction. I recognized the black clothed figure as the one that was chasing me. I cursed softly under my breath before I started walking faster.
I hoped they didn't see me, not that luck was on my side.

I looked back to where they stood but the person was gone. I was about to relax when I felt someone grab my arm. I froze and slowly turned my head revealing the hooded person to be holding onto my arm.

I panicked and tried ripping my arm out of his grasp but he didn't budge. "Found you." Their voice was the same as the person who was chasing and sent the little green creatures after me.

"Beatrice, you've finally come back!" The person pulled down their hood revealing a boy around my age. He had dark brown hair with dazzling....purple? Eyes. He was pale but had a huge scar across his throat.

Beatrice?

I made a face and tried to pull myself away from the male. "I don't know who Beatrice is, you have the wrong person!" I yelled struggling against his grip. He looked at me with a furrowed brow before opening his mouth, "Impossible, you look just like Beatrice."

I glared and resorted to kneeing him in the crotch. He immediately let go and kneeled over holding the area I kneed. I turned and started running but not before I heard the guy talk into ..some kind of phone.

Dang he has back up

I noticed a few figures running as fast as the bloody flash! They wore the same black attire as the guy before, making me internally scream.

What do they want from me?!

I turned into a small alley that was only able to fit a small body like my own. "Maybe luck is on my side." I huffed to myself running through the small alley until I got to another street on the other side.

I yelped in surprise noticing I was going to crash into a pile of metal scraps. I cursed under my breath before closing my eyes, jumping with everything I had.
I felt like I jumped really high so I opened my eyes and almost fainted.

I had jumped so high that I was heading towards a roof of a two story building. "What the...!" I crashed into the side of the house and quickly grabbed the ledge of the roof.

I dangled from the roof, feeling my arms begin to ache. "How did this...happen!" I screamed looking down at the very high drop I'd have to suffer if I fell down then. "WHY is this happening!" The pain flaring up in my arms were getting too much, I desperately wanted to let go.

"Ah dang! I jumped two stories high, I can get myself up!" I began trying to pull myself up and eventually I succeeded. I lay my upper body on the roof while my lower half dangled over the side of the roof. "I....made...it." I breathed out before a few shadowy figures came running towards me, along the rooftops I might add.

....really....
