I stood in the middle of a crowded street, staring up at the bright blue sky. I was wondering about all sorts of things, my main concern was where I was.

"This is giving me a headache." I massaged my temple shaking my head. I was interrupted once I heard someone cry out in distress making me glaze around. I noticed an old woman had fallen over along with her groceries.

What a weird scenario

I walked towards her and helped her up. "Are you Alright ma'am?" I picked up all the food she dropped and placed them back into the packets. She smiled which made her eyes disappear behind her wrinkled skin.

"Yes thank you dear but...my back hurts so much. I still need to deliver these fruits to my son." She sighed and frowned. I awkwardly looked at her before sighing. "Want me to help you?" She brightened up and patted my shoulder. "That would be marvelous!"

I ended up helping the woman walk and she had guided us into a really dodgy looking back alley. Even with her sweet elderly voice telling me that her son was just down the alley, I couldn't help but feel something dangerous was going to happen.

"Um I have something to do so I assume you'll be okay by yourself?" I let go of her and started backing away. She looked to me and my heart instantly dropped.

Her eyes were as cold as ice and her face went a pale grey. "Oh why so sudden dear, Don't you want some tea?" She began to grow large teeth and she began to...grow. Her whole body looked like the skin was being pulled and blown up to whatever size she actually was.

"Ah you gotta be kidding me! This isn't a bloody movie!" I shouted covering up my fear with my frustration. The once old lady growled at me before letting out a piercing scream.

I covered my ears thinking they'd bleed if I continued hearing the outrageous scream. The scream ended and I let my hands flop down to my side. I looked up and found the ugly creature peering down at me, spit dripping from its large mouth and it landing on my head.

"Oh my word...so gross." I squeaked before lifting my leg and landing a kick to the creatures...uh...body? It squealed and backed up a little which gave me the opportunity to run.

I took the said opportunity and ran as fast as I could. Unfortunately the only way I could run was the opposite way we came.

Please don't let there be a dead end, please don't let there be a dead end

I prayed but God apparently didn't hear it. I was heading straight into a dead end. I stopped in front of the cement wall and cursed. "Nooo!" I kicked the wall but that didn't do much.

I heard the growling and disgusting crawling come from the old lady-creature. "I can't seriously die like this." I turned around and faced the terrifying monster that was heading my way. "I still haven't figured out where I am!" I screamed covering my head, waiting for death.
