There are days were life wants to hurt you. Fortunately, that doesn't happen to me. I have the best mates and the teachers who speak crap but are really nice. I like school. I don't have a girlfriend but so many people want me that I'll never have a problem with that. And my teacher said that's called good self esteem, so..

I see girls everywhere, but I never like them like I should.

As I walk to school I hear someone shout, "Mate!" I turn to see Matt running at me.

"Matt!" I yelp as he dunks my head down and ruffles my hair. I laugh and punch him in the shoulder. Matt laughs too.

"So I hear you and Kelly... Broke up. Sorry mate, that must be rough" Matt says, as we walk down the road.

"Nah, I didn't really get on with her. She wasn't... right." I struggle for words. I liked Kelly. She was nice and we had fun. But as I looked at her, I didn't know what to say. She's pretty as hell, but I just didn't like her that way. She was fun though. And beautiful. But not my kind of "love."

"Dude, be careful. You will run out of girls" Matt says. Silence. Then we both burst into laughter. "I know, I know!" Matt laughs.

"I'll never "run out" mate" I grin but as I say it, I suddenly wondered. Imagine me, on the side of school, bullies beating me up everyday. And no girls liked me. I couldn't get how people lived like that. I'd kill myself and I'm not kidding.

As we walk to the gates, I hear girls scream and I smile. I love the girls at this school. They all act so happy to see me. I know if I looked half pig or something, they wouldn't be nice but it's good to know they are there.

I look around. School. Gum on the benches, girls and boys kissing, boys beating up some kid which I can't help because the bullies would go to me and the teachers literally don't care. My other mates come to see me and Matt. Harry says he and his girlfriend are going to go out tonight and if I wanted to come. I say no because I don't feel great after ending it with Kelly.

Dan says his girlfriend is turning obsessed with him. She is always kissing him and threatening girls that she will kill them if they don't step away.

"That's rough man. Break up with her, before she goes to prison" I say, taking the gum from Matts back and popping it in my mouth.

"Yeah but dude.. She'll kill me!" Dan moans, grabbing the gum and throwing the gum in his mouth. All girls start clapping and Dan grins and bows.

"DONT CLAP AT MY BABY!" A voice screams. I shift a laugh and lean against Max, our other mate, who is besides himself. A girl with brown hair, flowing down her neat shirt walks slowly to Dan. She looks beautiful and kind. But her face was scary as heck.

"Dan, Honey. Tell them not to clap at you" she says slowly, so quietly I have to move closer.

"I'm alright, Less." Dan has goosebumps. I gasp as I try not to laugh.

I step up and say, "leave him alone Less, he's breaking up with you." Less gives me the glare of a demon. Dan gulps and I put him on the back.

"I don't know what your talking about, Big-headed Marky" she hisses. "Make a song out of it then. Act cool then, I'd love to see how you change this around like you always do, you crap bag."

I laugh and walk towards her. I can rap so I'll rap.

I throw my arms out and yell, "Marky Butt Butt on the track!" Every girl screams and Dan, Matt, Harry, Max and Sam yelp, "ohhh!"

"My friend here hates you, as do I. Less, get a life, before you cry. Don't know about you but it's hot in here, oh it's because Less is burning from my fire!"

"Ohhhhhh" the crowd yell. Less screams, stamping her foot. "Dan, do you love me?" She asks angrily.

"Nope" Dan says, "sorry Less."

"My name is Lessarderia!" She yells and strops out of school. We all whoop and every high fives me. "Mate that was awesome thanks!" Dan laughs, punching me softly.

I laugh as the bell goes. We walk to period 1, Geography. Yay!

As I walk into the room, I see a girl. She has long blonde hair, fair makeup, blue eyes and the cutest smile I've ever seen. She looks at me, smiles and walks to her seat.

And that, my friends, is what "love at first sight" really is.
