Lmao, I'll end this book off at exactly 90 chapters! Anyways, I tried to make room for everyone to get a POV but that didn't happen. Also, I actually have a playlist for this chapter, haha, if you wanna listen you can, if you don't, then don't.

Lord Huron - The night we met
Rex orange county - BEST FRIEND

Jiyeon

I twirled around in the mirror, watching as my dress whirled around me like a blooming burgundy anemone. It brought only smiles to my face, seeing how I could actually dress up for once. I look pretty.

My hair was curled, my makeup was done lightly, and my dress fitted perfectly. Oh, how everything was so perfect.

Two knocks sounded from my room door, me shouting out to let whoever it is know they could come in. The door creaked open, an evident gasp sounding from behind it.

"Jiyeon, you look-"

"Like shit."

"Jaebum! Language!"

"What, someone had to tell her."

I quickly huffed out, pivoting to see my dad and Jaebum at my door, watching as I flaunted the pretty dress in the mirror. My dad cooed at the sight, as of he's never seen me in a dress before.

"You've grown up," my father reeling his arms around my shoulder as he gazed at the both of us through the reflex of the mirror. "I have to take pictures for your mother, I'm sure she'd love to see you all dressed up."

"Dad, it's just homecoming."

"Yeah, but you look so cute."

I chuckled at his excitement before we all were distracted by the knocks at my door. "Koo Koo?" I mumbled to myself.

My dad huffed, trudging away. "I'll get it."

Jaebum raised a brow at me. "Stay safe," was all he said as he turned away and left me alone to my room.

Quickly, I began to rummage through my purse. I had to be one hundred percent sure that I had everything, especially sure of the Cupid's arrow Jin gave me. This locket was the key to everything, and tonight will be my only chance to set Jin free and end this madness.

I checked my wrist, seeing the number one tatted beneath my palm. It was a shot of reassurance, that reassurance carrying my will. I can do this.

"Jiyeon," my father voiced once more, "come downstairs please."

I tapped my foot anxiously against the flooring of Jiyeon's living room, waiting for her as I held a single rose in one hand and a bar of ice cream in the other. I was excruciatingly nervous, something about tonight just felt out of place. It was like in new something grave would happen, but I didn't know what.

"Kookie?"

My eyes trailed up the stairs, match the sweet voice to the beautiful girl that marched down the stairs towards me. I was honestly in utter shock, my god how beautiful she was. The dark burgundy in her dress contrasted her skin almost perfectly. The light touch of makeup emphasized the already beautiful features that were there. Even the soft curls in her hair, and the cute style of half up and down really reflected her mesmerizing youth in the most gracious way.

My mouth suddenly ran dry as I fixed my suit, hoping to make myself look somewhat decent compared to her. She immediately ran into my arms, snaking them over my shoulders to hug me as tightly as possible. She then pulled away, looking at the small little gifts in my hands.
