Daniel had been going around the room, picking a couple of bottles from the bar.

Seb knew this was a mistake. A terrible. Terrible mistake. He never partook in Daniel Ricciardo's little nights of gambling and drinking. Never. Not even when they were teammates.

He didn't know why he was there. Granted Kimi liked the booze, Max was Daniel's best pal on the grid, Carlos cracked the same crude jokes as Daniel, Norris was bored and had nothing else to do and Lewis was there because he had a break up.

Seb honestly had no reason to be there. He didn't like the booze, he wasn't Daniel's favourite person, didn't like the jokes, he wasn't bored and he didn't have a break up.

He was out of place. He should have been in his room, sleeping since they did have a race tomorrow.

Not in the Red Bull motorhome, drinking beer with his competitors.

Maybe the problem was Alyona. He couldn't get her out of his mind. Never. Not once. Her sickly miserable voice haunted him. Her scared eyes were an affirmation enough to force a pain through his chest. Somehow, it felt as if he was the only one she could open up to. He didn't know why. It just felt like it.

"So, Seb," Daniel said as he sat down across him. "Has there been anything playing between you and that gorgeous woman?"

Daniel, you ass. Seb thought and shook his head. "She's not a very gorgeous when she opens her mouth to speak."

Daniel smirked. "Wow, that bad, uh? 'Cause I think you fancy her?"

Kimi growled. Knowing exactly where Daniel was going with all that introductory conversation. "Leave the man alone, Ricciardo."

Seb chuckled. "No, no, I don't. In fact, I can't even stand the thought of her."

"He's right." Lewis interjected before Daniel could say anything back. "You hadn't seen her that day in Silverstone, Daniel." Lewis shuddered. "My ex was worse than her, but she was equally scary."

Max rolled his eyes. "Obviously, your ex is worse than anyone."

"Nicole?" Seb asked.

"No. Nicki." Lewis answered and shivered again in the thought of her.

"What's wrong with you, dude?" Daniel laughed. "Do all the names of your exes start with N?"

Lewis decided to silently drink his beer.

Kimi sat up on the couch. "Pass me the vodka, this is gonna be long." He said to Daniel who kept laughing for some unknown reason, dragging Lando, Max and Carlos with him too into fitfulls of laughter.

When Daniel stopped he took a face and crossed his legs. He looked at Seb. "You just chicken out from asking her on a date."

Seb choked on his beer. "Who? Alyona? I better ask Lewis out on a date."

"Jeez, thanks man." Lewis said before shaking his head. "They are not gonna let us live through this."

Lando smirked. "At least now we all know who's your deepest fantasy, Seb."

Daniel managed to keep a straight face. "I have a proposition to make. A game of poker. I win you've got to ask her out and get her to bed, you win I'll do the deed."

"Don't be too confident you will. You don't know what you are talking about. A date with her would be like a Nazi torture."

Daniel smirked. "Ah, well, aren't you German?"

Seb was doing well. He had four of a kind and was practically winning when something terrible happened.
