Seb turned a page in the book, "I want you sore, baby,” he murmurs, and he continues his sweet, leisurely torment, backward, forward. “Every time you move tomorrow, I want you to be reminded that I’ve been here. Only me. You are mine."
Alyona growled and Seb yelped, pressing it shut and throwing the book to the side.
"I'm gonna burn this blasted book, Seb." She whispered, her voice broken and rough from the sedatives.
"It did the trick, though." He carefully sat on the edge of the bed and smiled down at her. "You weren't waking up. I thought annoying you would be the best strategy."
She groaned and opened her eyes to look up at him. "It worked." She said. "I wanted to growl earlier but the sedatives were heavy and I couldn't."
Seb carefully pulled her hair behind her ear and leant down to kiss her cheek. "I love you." He said smiling. "And it's so strong that I want to marry you. Yes, let's do that. Marry me. No question."
"Too many sedatives." She murmured, eyes closing. "Baby?"
"Good chance it survived, we'll see in a few days. That's what the doctor said."
"Seb," she whispered.
"Yes, my love?"
"Burn that book, please."
Seb laughed and sat back. "Get better and we'll burn it together."
She smiled and turned her head to the side.

The next few days she was getting better. Ate better and was on better spirits. The Doctor had yet to take blood samples and check for the baby, but Seb wouldn't complain. He was just so grateful that she was alive and well that nothing else seemed to matter.
James came a few times over talking about a few million things, his conversation with Alyona moved from Alfredo sauce to Tesla shares in a few minutes.
They both brought a headache to Seb.
"There's nothing dirty, legally, on his name apart from shooting you." James said as he sat beside Alyona. "But Bossert is slowly scrapping the surface. He can't keep the fund or the shares in the team, it would be illogical to do so."
Alyona rolled her eyes. "These are on my name."
James frowned. "Are they?"
"My idea. Huge laundering. Plus a minus investment. He couldn't resist. But he couldn't have them on his name. I was supposed to be his heir. It was the natural thing to do."
"The corp?"
"I own around forty five percent. He owns a ten." She chuckled. "Told you he was preparing me for the big business."
"Well, thank God, he couldn't do it in the end." James chuckled and looked at Seb. "I guess you'll be signed with Ferrari till you can't drive."
Seb rolled his eyes. "I was thinking of retirement, actually. With the baby and all."
Alyona threw him a glare as she was sat up on the bed. "Cut the horseshit, love. You're not gonna stop what you love because of a kid. There are excellent nannies."
James cleared his throat. "Oh! Let me! Jamesetta would turn to be excellent in the business. I've retired anyway, don't have anything else to do. Plus, I talk five languages and am an accomplished pianist. Let me, I didn't get the chance to raise you, my darling. It's the least I can do."
"I can't do that, dad. You still manage the shipping company. I can't do that."
James rolled his eyes exactly the same way Alyona did. "Sebastian, tell her. It'll do me good. Jamesetta would love that."
