After that we just talked a lot and learnt a lot of things about one another such as he has a little brother, he's 19 years of age (just like me) and we both love spaghetti and meatballs.
That night I just watched movies and ate ice cream and was feeling a little like Bridget Jones. Now it's Monday morning, the day everyone hates and I was off to catch the train where I'm hoping, Ashton will be.
However I wasn't going to work today, I decided to take the day off for once and said that it was for an emergency. When really it wasn't, I was going to visit my brother because we haven't spoke it what has felt like years.
I waited patiently along with many other people for the train to arrive and just as it did I saw a black hood above all other heads and I just knew that it was him.
I quickly sat down in my usual seat at the front and just before I was about to put my headphones in Ashton came and sat down next to me."Good morning Katie" he sing songed "Good morning Ashton" I replied with a big smile on my face.
"Where are you going today?" he asked. "Oh erm I'm going to see my brother" I said in a hushed tone because I realised that he was a touchy subject. "You don't have to say it so quietly you know Katie, I understand he's your brother"
"Right Ash I need to go now, do you want to meet up later? " I asked hesitantly. "Yeah sure, text me your address and I'll be there." I smiled and he mirrored my action. The train was slowly coming to a stop, fuck it, I leaned in and hugged him "I'll see you later Ash" I whispered.
"Goodbye Katie" he answered sounding and looking slightly dumbfounded. I quickly walked to the exit doors of the train and stepped off, right let's do this.
*twenty minutes later*
A good twenty minutes later I arrived at Luke's apartment and let's just say it wasn't very easy to find. I knocked and butterflies emerged in my stomach, I don't even know why I but I was extremely nervous about seeing him again.
The door opened and to my surprise it was the missing peice to the puzzle. "Katiee! I wasn't expecting you!"he said sounding slightly drunk. "Well I wasn't really expecting you either Calum, erm is Luke in?" I asked.
"Well he's kind of finishing up with someone" he laughed. Moans filled my ears for fuck sake I'm so done with him. "Oh my god well I'll be off, don't tell him I called please".
As I walked down the path tears brimmed my eyes, how could he do this? I cannot believe how much he has changed since he left town. The only thing I could think of is calling Ashton and telling him to get round to mine as soon as he could.
Luckily when I got to the station the train arrived within 5 minutes so I hopped on and began the journey home. The ride went surprisingly quickly and I found myself walking back to my apartment.
I quickly grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called Ashton, he picked up after two rings. "Erm hi Ash could you get round to mine in like ten minutes please?" I said sniffling, still not 100% after what occurred earlier on.
"Sure thing Katie, what's happened?" he asked sounding curious. "I'll tell you when you arrive" I finished and ended the call. I arrived home shortly after and slipped on some pajama bottoms and wiped my mascara stained cheeks.
I honestly don't care what I look like, I just need someone to talk to.
