My eyes opened to black walls and a floor covered in clothes. I slept the night at Michael's house. "Fuck wo-" I began to say until my mind cut me off. Then I remembered that I quit. A frown appeared on my face, I completely forgot that quiting work meant not getting the train ever again.

I was automatically in a sad mood. I sat up and straightened out my clothes that I slept in, put my hair up in a messy bun and began to search for some paper. There was a crumpled piece of paper in the kitchen which hadn't been wrote on so I grabbed a pen out of my bag and wrote a note to Michael saying that I didn't want to wake him and I had to go back to my apartment.

I walked out of Michael's and popped a chewing in my mouth as I hated having morning breath. I put my earphones in my ears and started to walk home. As I approached my apartment I saw a pop of light on my doorstep, I got closer and I could just about make out that there was a bunch of orange flowers.

I picked them up and noticed a little note attached which said ' Katie, I realised that you won't need to catch the train anymore therefore I declare that we meet everyday at the coffee shop that you work in. Deal?' I smiled. It made me feel a lot less guilty now that he had figured it out as well and wasn't angry about it.

I took the bouquet into my kitchen, grabbed a large vase that my mother gave to me, filled it with water and placed the flowers in it. They gave my living room that extra bit of colour which really gave it more of a homely feel. I got my phone out of my bag and sent a text to Ashton saying 'Deal '.

I took a shower and used my favourite shea butter shower gel- which may I add is the best thing ever. When I got out I just decided to sit on my bed (with a towel wrapped round me of course) and relax because I've been so caught up in things lately. I thought about maybe starting my own photo shop from scratch instead of working for magazine or something.

With that thought in my mind I grabbed my laptop and searched for any shops for sale in Brisbane where I could get started and hopefully it'll all work out. After about five minutes of looking on a few websites I finally found one that caught my eye: it was in town so I'm surprised I've never saw it before, it had a great size and popular shops all around it so it would easy attract customers.

It was perfect. There was only two or three bids which were quite low, I bit my lip nervously and typed in my bid which was £150,000. It was a sensible and quite cheap bid for the location but I'm pretty sure some smart man or woman will make a bid later which I won't be able to top, you know what they can be like sometimes.

I added the website to my home screen to make it easier to access when I check on the bidding later on today. I decided to get dressed as it was getting slightly uncomfortable sitting in a towel. I rubbed body butter all over and put on a simple outfit which was black skinny jeans, boots and an oversized jumper.

I left my make up until later on because there was no point of wearing a full face of make up when I'm just lounging around the house. I might aswell make something out of today so I put on my cleaning head and got all of the cleaning items from under the sink onto the counter and began to make my apartment look and smell cleaner.

Half way through mopping my kitchen floor my phone started ringing. I returned the map to its bucket and got my phone from my bedroom. I pressed the green call button and the call went like this:

"Hello? Is this user katieh94?"

"Yeah, who is this?"

"Hi I'm Paul, the owner of the property you have recently bidded on."

"Oh hello if my bid was-" I began to say before he cut me off.

"No your bid was just what I was looking for actually."

"Really? Don't you want more because it's in a popular location because if you do I-"

"No, no its honestly fine give me a call when your ready to buy the shop." he cut me off again.

"Okay sure bye"

He ended the call almost immediately after I finished speaking. That was so much easier that I thought it would be and I wasn't even expecting it. This made me think, am I one hundred percent ready to take this giant step in my life?

I know all the boys are from Sydney but I really like Brisbane so I'm just going to the set the story there and just pretend they live there instead. This chapter wasn't even about her and Ashton as much but I thought I'd include some career things because most of us have to go through things similar to this so yeah.
